- JJJOMSep 18, 20261.0Extremely disappointing and unprofessional! I made an appointment for grooming for my Goldendoodle at 11:45am and they told me to pick him at at 4pm, which already felt too long for a grooming but ok.. When I went to the store at 4pm they told me that they needed until 6pm! And when I showed up at 6, I was unable to pick up my dog until 6:45pm. That’s 7 hours and I had made an appointment - Petco makes too many appointments to make sure that they have enough bookings for the day, completely ignoring the wellbeing of the dogs who spend hours in crates. If I make an appointment for grooming, it’s precisely to avoid for my dog to be stuck in a crate for 5 hours!! To add, I asked for a teddy bear haircut and they did the opposite. The groomer (Janasia) seemed quite inexperienced and didn’t even know what to say when I told her that she didn’t follow the instructions. The store manager acknowledged that my dog had been in a crate “but not for so long” and then he left the store. Great customer service.. I had been at this store a couple of times before (with other groomers) but never again!

- HBHoward BadenAug 22, 20261.0Don’t have issue with our groomer but it is more about the vital care program is very misleading where the website and media materials say one thing and then when you get your 10th grooming it should be free but rather give you just pay a very small portion of the bill. This is after spending over 1500 in previous grooming. Customer service to try to resolve this was a joke and they even admitted many other people called to complain about this very same issue. The customer service person said they will mention it to management but we all know what that means. Was not expecting this from Petco.
