  Have never had any issues with other Petco locations in the past, and have thoroughly recommended training for every family dog we've had. I booked a 6 week group puppy training class. Loved the trainer, but no one else signed up for the class, so we were getting a group class for a private rate. First, the trainer no called no showed to our third class. There was no sense of remorse or genuinely apology from management or the trainer. Then, an excuse was made that our longtime vet staunchly disagreed with about her behavior for why classes were ended. Instead of automatically refunding like any reasonable business would do, they keep telling us to call corporate and refuse to accept responsibility. Corporate claims it's the stores place to fix it since the transaction was in store in cash. Another NYC store I talked to also agreed, and said they couldn't really do much. At this point this location has effectively stolen about $85 from us for unfulfilled services.

  While visiting this location today, I wasn’t welcomed in, I wasn’t offered help (in fact once they saw me and proceeded to one by one run off to hide), the entire dog section was blocked off and there was no assistance to be found. I grabbed some treats because that’s all that wasn’t blocked off pertaining to dogs, as I head on the line the cashier, with a disgusting attitude, tells me to place my items down and bugs her eyes to indicate so, might I add that while I was waiting to be tended to she was just on her phone texting and eating chips (very unprofessional). Now I’m waiting for her to scan my items she chooses to now clean up her crumbs and starts to ask for a membership from the floor (how rude), she then gets up and yells it again slowly as if I’m a child and rolls her eyes and walks away yet again with an attitude without yet scanning the items. At this point there’s now a line of people yet she was still too focused on her phone (I didn’t get the woman’s name as I was rushing to get out and away from her negativity but as a woman in your 30s-40s, why are we showing up to work doing childish behavior and having no discipline enough to not be on your food in front of customer and to eat in the break room, YOU COME TO WORK TO WORK, IF NOT QUIT.)of Based off the collective reviews on unprofessionalism at this location the whole store needs a reevaluation and so does the staff or the location needs to be closed down as a whole. I’ve been a loyal customer to petco for over a decade now and this behavior and disorganization of a facility gives petco a bad name, because it seems customers shed light on issues that are not being corrected. Won’t be returning here.

  Our Puppy gets training with Colton and he is an 11/10! Best puppy trainer there is! He makes training so fun and interactive and our puppy has learned so much! Would highly recommend using Colton if interested in Puppy Training

  Getting my pup to the puppy dates and the training lessons with Colton has been a life changing experience for me! Colton gave me all the informations i needed being a first time dog mom! Would definitely come back for more lessons and learning with Colton!

  We had a 6-week private obedience training with the trainer named Colton. My dog Toby learned a lot of obedience and we learned to communicate with our dog better not only just learning the command, as the dogs generally do better with structures and rules. Highly recommend Colton if you are looking for a basic obedience training or puppy training
