I traveled down to this store for nothing. It was already bad enough that no employees were on the floor and I had to wait online just to ask for a leash behind a display case. When I asked the employee told me they didn’t know where the key was kept and I couldn’t buy it and I had to come back. It was also raining. Thanks petco

Just left Petco where Jenn was so wonderful! Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable at this Petco, and Jenn exemplified the reputation of this store with her personable care and expert advice in fitting Chase with a great "no pull" harness. I was pulled the almost mile to Petco but the trip home Chase walked directly alongside me with zero pulling. Thank you so much, Jenn!

absolutely HORRIBLE experience with Dr. Andrew James Johnson! This review is specifically about the Vetco Clinic at this location and my dog’s visit today with Dr. Andrew James Johnson. He was the most unprofessional veterinarian we have ever seen. The entire visit felt hostile and disrespectful, and my dog was handled roughly. The overall experience was horrible, extremely traumatic for my dog, and deeply upsetting for me. He was disrespectful, unprofessional, and aggressive. He rushed through the entire visit and kept saying, "I don’t have time for that, it was almost my lunch hour." However, our appointment was scheduled for 1:00 PM, and we arrived on time. Here is what happened: 1. The most concerning part was how my dog was handled. My dog was placed on the exam table for her vaccines, which is normal. However, after giving her the vaccine, and without communicating with me, the doctor GRABBED the loose skin on the BACK OF MY DOG’S NECK with his right hand, lifted her off the table, and continued trying to pull her down to the floor that way. My dog was horrified and extremely scared. She started panting heavily and kicking her legs in the air. I immediately stopped him and pulled my dog back to me. There was no apology after he handled my dog so roughly. WHO on earth would LIFT a 7-year-old, 44-pound dog by GRABBING SKIN ON HER NECK? In all of my years of vet visits, I have never ever seen anything like this. My dog was extremely traumatized. 2. He was also extremely UNPROFESSIONAL during the Bordetella vaccine. When he administered it, almost half of the liquid spilled out of my dog’s mouth and onto my shirt. When I looked at him in confusion, he told me it was fine as long as it touched her mouth. I was shocked. In the past seven years of vet visits, this has never happened. 3. MISLEADING purchase and FAKE VISIT SUMMARY. The visit summary included a vital check and wellness exam that were not actually provided during the visit. At check-in, I purchased a wellness package for $165.50 for my dog’s vaccine visit. The receptionist told me it included the vaccines my dog needed, a vital check for each visit, a wellness exam, and a heartworm test. No vital check was performed. He pushed the wellness exam for another appointment. But, the visit summary showed vital information, which is completely FAKE! They lied about it becuase a vital, and a wellness exam was never done. 4. He was AGGRESSIVE! defensive, and emotionally unstable. When I noticed no vital check was done (weight, temperature, heart rate, etc.), I went back to ask him about it. Right after I asked the question, nicely, he immediately said, in a very RUDE way, "What's vital? We don’t do vitals at this clinic. I don’t do vitals." I explained that the vital check was included in the package I purchased, which was also confirmed by the receptionist standing right behind him. His whole face immediately turned RED and raised his voice aggressively, saying, "You didn’t pay for vitals. You only paid for the vaccines." Are you kidding me?? He never checked with the receptionist, he just kept mumbling, and claiming that he never does vital check and people are only paying for vaccines, not vitals. I then asked the receptionist to clarify. She said that the package does include a vital check per visit, but that it depends on the doctor. I asked why that was not explained to me when I paid for the package, and she said nothing. The doctor then changed his narrative and said, "I already checked her heartbeat when I touched her before the vaccine." WHICH VET can measure a heart rate of 120 by just touching a dog for one second? Then I asked him about temperature, and he became even more aggressive and responded, "Temperature? What do you want me to do, put my finger into her butthole?" Seriously??  I'm like, dude, what you are doing? This entire experience was unacceptable. My dog left the clinic extremely stressed, and I left feeling shocked, uncomfortable, and very disappointed. I would never ever use vetco clinic here again.

Not my favorite petco. I went in for the first time ever to this particular store, just to get some meal worms. The bug fridge was unorganized and most bug containers were full of dead bugs. Maybe it was just an off day for the store? The fish area was really cool though.
