  Brought the dog in for a groom I scheduled over 2 months ago and was told my vaccination records needed to be in pdf form. The form I gave them was filled out by the vaccine clinic, had their # on it, web and email address. I also offered to upload it via my phone so it could be in pdf. Kay then claimed it needed to be typewritten as a pdf because that's a requirement of the Dept of Health and anyone could handwrite a vaccine form. I told them they could call and research the vet id, etc. She lied because pdf form isn't a DOH requirement. Then Evelyn- the store manager asked me how she knew I didn't make up the form myself- to which I became irate- because I did not and they could have followed up if they thought that. Meanwhile- their store did the first half of my dog's vaccines!! She then started yelling at me. I've never seen a store run by such horrible, dishonest and trashy people. Avoid this store.

  This Petco is horrible ! They make up their own rules and store policies which is not ok . I went to surrender my parakeets because I am moving and was told they don’t accept surrenders which is not what is stated on the Petco website ! There is always an issue when I come to this place ! The animals aren’t well taken care of . While the managers relax they have the 2 or 3 staff they have there daily doing absolutely everything which shows I. The care for the animals. If you can avoid going to this location do yourself a favor and just do, there are other locations in Manhattan where the staff genuinely care and are nicer.

  I was 10 minutes late due to delayed public transportation and they turned me away after 30 minutes of traveling. Horrible service and system that they didn’t have any sort of grace period. Staff was very rude and did not show any understanding. Would not recommend.

  Me and my daughters always find our needs and wants for our baby turtle 🐢 KIWI. Thank you PETCO for all your help and your staff are so nice, caring, supportive and friendly.😊

  Store has a musty odor, a marked difference from the Yonkers location. No store I've been to seems to have any food for kittens. You'd think a pet specialty store would be different, but this one isn't. What little staff there is don't seem to be very helpful.
