  You simply suck!! You have the poorest customer service!!! People save yourself lives the headache!!!! Your online same day delivery is a lie! You promised me I would receive my package at 10am, but you make fake promises!!! I wish I went somewhere else!!!

  Come here often but not a fan of the old grey haired rude miserable faced woman who feeds the cats. I would come see to the cats and have been rescuing cats for 20 years in NYC. Get rid of that miserable woman and I’ll think of coming back. Not interested in being around miserable energy when I come see cats. Impersonable thing keeps others from being interested in coming near the cat area. Maybe she should adopt them all and stay at home where she belongs! 🤮🤮🤮🤮

  The Union Square store was charging 1/3 more for the same Tshirt than the store on 2 ave in 50. When I questioned it, all I got was a rude reply.. Did not find chat with Peto particularly helpful

  I came from Brooklyn to pick up a $200 aquarium filter that Petco’s website listed as “available for pickup now.” It wasn’t on the shelf, so I asked an employee if I could grab one. Without checking anything, he told me they didn’t have it. I showed him the listing on my phone — in stock, ready for pickup — and he just shrugged and “you can wait for that if you want”. So he’s telling me he doesn’t think it’s in the building but is ok with me firing out 200 bucks and waiting for fulfillment rather than just checking on this product that is almost certainly in the back. This is an expensive, easily-stolen item, so I’d have been surprised if they kept it on the shelves. I went downstairs to find a manager and give them one last chance before giving up; couldn’t find one, and the greeter at the front door was rude as hell and useless. I literally said “This is an item that you have for sale, I came to buy it, no one can even check for me? Petsmart’s site says they have it too. I came here to buy it, but if no one can help me I have no problem buying it from someone else. I was right by the front door literally telling the guy I want to buy it there and not somewhere else and he just said “yeah I guess just go get it somewhere else”. Nobody was willing to spend two minutes checking the stockroom, so a couple hundred dollars walked out the door for no reason. I have a dog and four aquariums — I’m a regular customer for supplies, or I was. We just moved and this Petco is the convenient location for me, which makes it more of a shame, but I’ll happily walk the extra blocks to PetSmart to avoid this Petco. For contrast: I went to the PetSmart 7 blocks north and did the exact same thing — told the employee the filter was listed online but wasn’t on the shelf. He immediately said they don’t shelve those because they get stolen (it’s $200 and fits in a backpack), then took about two seconds to check the back. PetSmart got my money. That’s all it took.

  this is a super nice store, has a lot of things for your pets. First time pet ownership can be overwhelming & Annette was so helpful in making sure we were set up with everything (no more, no less) than what was needed to make week 1easy with our new pup.
