- VFValentina Federico5 days ago1.0They never pick up the phone And some of the sellers on the 2nd floor don’t care about their job, they are going thru the motions and actively avoiding helping you. You have to hunt them down to get help. They shouldn’t work there.

So does their online infrastructure - once their system was down and they couldn’t give me my order. I always wind up not getting what I ordered and then the hassle of cancelling the order over a phone call where one has to explain the situation multiple times. I’d just like to order and get what I ordered. Just that.

The Union Square flagship is, without question, the most thoughtfully designed Petco I’ve ever visited. It doesn’t feel like a big-box pet store, it feels like a space built by people who genuinely understand that our pets are family. Every corner has intention, from the beautiful layout and curated products to the way the store invites you to slow down and explore. The staff were kind, knowledgeable, and clearly cared about helping rather than simply making a sale. That’s a rare combination, especially in a city where everyone is moving a hundred miles an hour.
- FFFranJul 27, 20264.0Petco at 14th St. is like the Bloomingdales (haute couture) for cats & dogs. It is a clean, beautiful, classy place. I like the new set up for the kitten/cat adoption - so much better for the cats. 14th St. Petco has everything in care and grooming of the animals. Pet Stores have moved far beyond the care of animals; they've become the new fashion industry for your pet. It comes with the very high prices of it too. I purchased a small pot of cat grass, and when I heard $11+, I nearly fell over. I have it one day and it is already wilting. I give you 5+ stars for the design of the place, and 2 1/2 stars for the extravagance. Vet costs and pet supplies are so high now, I think animal adoptions and our animals will suffer from it.
