  I went for the first time today with a one year old kitten I adopted only six days ago who had chronic diarrhea. Everything about the experience was overwhelmingly positive Dr Suchanek was extremely nice and never even remotely tried to push any unnecessary diagnostics on me, which is an experience I had grown used to with my previous pets/ Vets. Everything about the practice was so nice and so personalized in this world of corporate chain veterinarians that only try to upsell to gain maximum amount of money from every visit. This was the exact opposite experience and I could not recommend this any higher!

  We brought our skittish rescue cat to Dr. Jan because the clinic is close to home, and we were really happy with the experience. At our last vet visit, he was very nervous and took a few days to get back to normal, but this time Dr. Jan and the vet tech handled him so gently that he was totally fine when we got home. The prices were fair, and we never felt pressured or left unsure about anything. Dr. Jan walked us through each step and gave us options along the way, which we really appreciated. The woman at the front desk staff was also professional and helpful. The office is small and no frills, but the care and handling of our cat takes priority. This is definitely our new veterinarian, and we’ll be returning for routine checkups and other necessary visits.

  I've been bringing my dogs to Dr. Suchanek for more years than I care to say.... three of my beautiful dogs over three decades were his patients. They all were treated with great care and expertise. His technicians are great and his staff always friendly and helpful. Dr.Suchanek is one of those rare veterinarians that combines humor and straight forwardness .. He has great nstincts as a diagnostician and doesn't push unnecessary tests. He listens to your concerns and suggests options...and he is very kind and sympathetic to us worried "moms" I have always recommended new dog owners in the neighborhood to go to Midtown Animal Hospital and see Jan Suchanek...Hope he doesn't retire for a long time!!!

  I just had my mini Dachshund neutered here. The staff and Veterinarian are TOP SHELF, VERY PROFESSIONAL and since they are fellow pet owners, they are extremely considerate of owner's concerns and questions. I would recommend this Animal Hospital to anyone. They are also very affordable.
