    I had a balance on my Puppy Care Plus account and went into Banfield in person to schedule an appointment. At that time, a Banfield employee told me I could pay half of my balance upfront and pay the remaining half after the appointment while continuing to receive services. However, when I arrived for my appointment, I was informed that my account had been canceled and sent to collections. I then called the billing department and explained that I had followed the instructions given to me by a Banfield employee. Despite this, I was told they would not reopen my account and that I was still responsible for paying for services that were never rendered to my puppy. To make matters worse, the veterinarian I spoke with at the clinic was dismissive and rude. When I explained that I had an account, I was repeatedly told, “Ummmmm, nope, you never did,” which was both unprofessional and frustrating. The lack of communication between departments, the misinformation provided by staff, and the poor customer service left me extremely disappointed. I expected much better treatment and accountability from a company entrusted with my pet’s care.

I call the billing line and get told that even though I was told the wrong thing by an EMPLOYEE OF THEIR COMPANY they refuse to reopen the account and I would have to pay for services that weren't even rendered to my puppy. On top of that the "vet" that I spoke to and informed me my account was closed was rude and insistent that I never had an account (when I told them I did I was told "ummmmmm nope you never did").

    Horrendous management. Terrible customer service. Corporate headquarters is insulting, incompetent and does not care about you or your animal. The entire company needs to be reorganized.

    This is a great vet hospital for you pets care. My puppy was spayed the other day and they were all just amazing and caring. My dog did great and has such a small incision. I use banfield for all my dog’s needs. I opted to use the wellness plan because I found that it was such a great price considering you are always at the vet for a puppy for vaccinations and spay or neuter. They explained everything to me about the plan. It is a WELLNESS PLAN. If my pet gets sick that is not covered. I have a different plan for that. The doctor was wonderful caring doctor. She called me after the surgery when my pet was ready to be picked up and explained everything for home care. Thank you Dr. Byman and staff.

    Horrible practice. Noted down my kitten’s birth date wrong, didn’t notice he already got his vaccines and the one I took him in for was supposed to be his last, and told me to come back in a month for the last shot. It’s a good thing I noticed this mistake because he would’ve been over vaccinated which can cause problems this early on. Avoid at all costs
