About

VeterinarianAnimal HospitalEmergency Veterinarian ServiceVeterinary Pharmacy
Bond Vet — Upper West Side at 91st Street is a primary and urgent care vet clinic for the dogs and cats of the UWS. Our modern and friendly clinic is at the corner of 91st and Broadway, open every day with convenient hours. Bond Vet pioneered the concept of urgent care for pets when we started in 2019, offering same-day medical care for timely symptoms like wounds, rashes, diarrhea, coughing, eye and ear issues, limping and any other non-life-threatening symptom and “uh-oh moment” that could worsen with time. That said, our compassionate and thorough team is also highly qualified to be your primary care vet for wellness exams and vaccinations, having come from a broad background of training that spans GP, emergency medicine, surgery and more. Our mission in starting Bond Vet was to bring veterinary medicine into the modern world, and it’s our priority to make great vet care easy and convenient, whether you desire an appointment after work, on weekends or during your lunch break. Our highly trained and collaborative veterinary team handles a wide range of cases, ranging from primary care (wellness visits, vaccinations, spay/neuter, dental cleaning, mass removal) and urgent care to more unique cases, like specialty orthopedic surgeries, cryptorchid neuters, and conjunctivitis. In short, Bond Vet is here to be your one-stop-shop vet. At Bond, you can book several ways — book online, call, or walk in, and we’ll typically be able to see your pet same-day or next-day. Once you’re here, you and your pet will feel comfortable in our friendly and welcoming clinic, thanks to natural light, comfortable furniture, complimentary treats, toys, books and hydration stations. Also, we know price matters — we’re upfront about care costs, offering options and pricing for diagnostics and next steps, and we won’t pressure or guilt you into more than you’re comfortable doing (and we’ll save you time by helping you file pet insurance claims). Bond Vet is a new kind of veterinary experience that’s better for pets and their people, and we look forward to meeting and treating your little one. Come by for primary or urgent care at Bond Vet - UWS at 91st St, at Broadway. Book online, call us or walk in. bondvet.com

Vets should not hold a cat”s medication hostage, especially medication that helps her breathe. I had high hopes for Bond Vet but when you hold back medication so you can grift, then you are just a profits-over-pets vet. My cat requires steroids. It’s changed anywhere from as low as a quarter up to a full steroid (5g) a day, and this has been going on for about 10 years. She’s 18. I brought her to Bond Vet For her last visit, and they said she was shockingly good. I got a few prescriptions since then because I was never allowed to get a larger amount to avoid constant refills, so this last time they said: no she has to come in first. Well I can’t afford a visit when I’m just expecting to refill a prescription, and when I do take her for her annual, I need to get blood too because it’s the only way you know what’s going on with her. (I adopted her at 7 yrs, and she has heart, lung and asthma issues.) Bond vet made what should’ve been a routine prescription refill a stressful 48 hours. In the end, they decided to advise me of all the issues my cat has, as if I was not aware of her health issues, and then they offered to have my cat seen over video because it would be cheaper for me, and that’s why I’m saying it’s profits over pets with this Vet because they just want the money. My cat isn’t going to get anything out of a video And she’s been consuming these steroids for 10 years and I get blood tests each year to monitor her health. Why they were requiring her to have a visit without any advance notice is beyond me, but they made it two days of heck and thankfully Chewy, who wasn’t charging an arm and leg for the prescription was standing right by me ready to send as soon as they gave authorization. Originally, I told Bond I would bring her in as soon as I could during the summer when I made enough for the actual visit because it’s a gig economy, and I have to wait until they were gigs, But now After what they pulled, there is no way I would bring booboo back to this Vet. Thankfully, I know a lot of Kitty parents because I take care of cats so I’ll find a nice local vet, not a chain. A place where you can call and they’ll pick up the phone and you’re not lost in a series of buttons to press while you’re trying to get medication for your cat only to speak to somebody who thinks you are clueless and thinks you are willing to give up your money for no reason at all. No thank you. Once again, Vets should not hold a cat”s medication hostage, especially medication that helps her breathe.

Listened to all of our concerns which was a problem we had at a few other vets in the city. They came up with a treatment plan for her skin issues and that really elevated the stress we were feeling!
