You have a pet emergency (bleeding eye scratch). You seek a vet that is open and claims to assist with various emergencies. You call and get Penny the utterly useless and robotic AI assistant. It can only send a link to the website booking page you already ignored because the next appointment is in six hours. We are and should be doomed as a species. Animals deserve better.
The doctor, tech, and welcome desk receptionist were all very attentive. They explained everything in layman’s terms to help me understand what was going on with my dog and provided options for what they thought was best. The tech also shared his honest insight about what he felt I should do to help my senior dog. I’m definitely feeling more relieved and much more informed about how to move forward with my dog’s care. Thanks!

I brought my cat in for a consultation today, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
My appointment was scheduled for 8:00 AM, and I was told to arrive at least 10 minutes early, which I did. When I arrived, the doors were still closed. The front desk employee was inside and appeared to see me, but he did not acknowledge me or let me know they would be opening shortly.
Around 7:58 AM, the door opened and I walked in. He immediately told me, “We’re not open,” in a dismissive tone. I understand the clinic may not officially open until 8:00, but after being instructed to arrive early, the lack of basic courtesy was frustrating.
The appointment itself also felt rushed. Dr. Katie Mignola did not seem to spend much time examining my cat or explaining her findings. This was especially disappointing because my previous visit with Dr. Hannah Sit was excellent. She was attentive, thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly.
I left feeling that today’s visit lacked the professionalism, communication, and level of care I expected based on my first experience.

Very disappointing experience. My dog was prescribed antibiotics without a clear diagnosis, and when things got worse, we were pushed toward a very expensive emergency stay. I ended up getting ripped off at the new place as well. High prices, constantly changing vets, and poor overall care.
Absolutely worst front desk ever. Cold, rude, and dragged my dog by his collar when he refused to go. What’s worse is that my dog has a WOUND on his neck, that we specifically told the front desk person. How is this possible?!
