I love Bond Vet! The staff handles my three babies with so much care. I’m always pleased with my experience every time I leave the clinic. My pets love the doctors & staff members so much. They are always so happy to see them! My pets are not the easiest in the clinic, but the staff has patience & takes their time to make sure that my babies are comfortable during their treatments/procedures. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else, if I could help it. I would give them 10 stars if I could 😉

I literally love it here. The staff is so sweet! My dog ate rocks/gavel and wasn’t feeling too great, then once I told the doctor he told me an immediate next step/plan which I love!! Now my dog princess is the happiest and feeling so much better!! Thank you Bond Vet team! I recommend this veterinary clinic to everyone looking for a new vet! They really do care for you and your pet!

Our fur baby loves coming here. We've had to bring her in for general check up, shots and even some more serious issues and have always had a great experience. Roux literally pulls us down the sidewalk to get to the door. She immediately goes for the duck treats. Dr. Brown has seen Roux for her last 3 visits and has been fantastic to work with. Shes incredibly knowledgable and easy to understand her analysis of Roux's exam. Thank you bond vet 86th street team for always giving us an easy and smooth vet experience.

Arrived at this office yesterday afternoon for a walk in appointment. Left over an hour later without seeing a veterinarian, my dog bleeding and whining in pain and me in tears.
My dog had been treated at the 62nd St Bond Vet office twice over a two-week period for an infected anal gland. After sedation, lancing, a week in a cone, two rounds of antibiotics and over $1k spent, the issue was still unresolved. I brought him to the 86th St office hoping my dog could be seen and his pain alleviated as quickly as possible.
Unfortunately, the staff at this location was unsympathetic from the outset. Although my dog was clearly in pain and later began actively bleeding while we waited, he was not evaluated by a veterinarian. I was dismissed rather than listened to while advocating for my dog and interactions with staff became unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional. At one point when I notified the nurse my dog had begun bleeding, she responded “so what?”.
Ultimately, we left without treatment while my dog was still in visible discomfort. After multiple visits and unsuccessful treatment, I expected more compassion, clearer communication and greater concern for my pet’s well being.
I won’t be returning to this or any other Bond Vet, but I hope future patients receive more responsive and empathetic care.

Terrible staff.
My dog needed medication, so I contacted this clinic for a prescription. On Sunday, I was told by both phone and email that it had been approved.
However, the online status continued to show as pending.
By Monday, nothing had changed. I called and emailed again, and was given the same response, that it was approved, yet the system still showed pending.
Tuesday was no different. I was repeatedly told it had been approved, but there was still no progress while my dog continued to suffer without medication.
On Wednesday, I followed up again and was told it had just been approved that morning, followed immediately by "it's not in our hands anymore." At that point, they completely deflected responsibility and showed no urgency or concern while my dog was getting worse by the hour.
They then told me to contact Chewy, claiming Chewy was the cause of the delay. When I reached out, Chewy was far more helpful and transparent.
They checked the status and informed me that the prescription had never actually been approved correctly. The delay was entirely on the clinic's end and they had actually approved the prescription under the wrong account. If they had simply checked or been transparent we could have avoided all this. Shout out to Chewy tho!
When I called the clinic back, I was told I would be given a direct contact number. Instead, the call was abruptly ended. I was also told a supervisor would call me back, which never happened. When I followed up about that, I was told, "Why would someone tell you that? You're not getting a call back." And said "MmMmm yah that's not happening.." like okay, then why did you say they would earlier?? Is no one at that vet on the same page? Anyway the last person I spoke to was very rude and dismissive. Sorry I bothered a veterinary clinic about my dog. 🙃
After four business days of this, my dog still had no medication and no relief.
I remained polite throughout every interaction because I genuinely believed they cared about animals. Unfortunately, the experience proved otherwise. The staff was dismissive, unhelpful, and at times outright rude.
I would not recommend this clinic to anyone, especially if your pet needs timely prescriptions or reliable care. You will be left doing all the follow up yourself while your animal continues to suffer.
This was an incredibly stressful and disappointing experience.
