We feel incredibly let down by this practice after a devastating experience with our cat. We specifically requested Dr. Ordas for urinary issues, but were instead seen by Dr. Siuci. Our cat had just finished two weeks of antibiotics from a previous ER visit for a kidney infection. Dr. Siuci ran tests but failed to extend the antibiotics, failed to perform a vital urine culture, and didn’t stress the urgency of the situation. Weeks later, our cat's creatinine shot from 3 to 8. Dr. Glasser actively discouraged us from going to the ER, advising only 50cc of home fluids daily. We trusted our instincts and took him to the ER anyway, where vets stated 50cc was dangerously low for a 16lb cat with diabetes insipidus, and skipping the ER could have been a fatal mistake. It took three calls to Steinway Court just to get his current labs because reception hadn’t uploaded them from IDEXX, and multiple calls to get a refund for a urinalysis they never completed. Our new vets at Court Square and Long Island were shocked by the lack of care, noting a kidney infection requires 6 weeks of antibiotics, not just the initial two from the ER, and a mandatory culture. We never received a single check-in from Dr. Siuci or Dr. Glasser. Please advocate for your pets. We’ve never felt so abandoned and invalidated. It was awful. Now our cat is stage 4 CKD at age 8, and we are doing everything we can everyday to keep him happy and stable so he can be with us as long as possible.

Dr. Ordas is truly the best. He takes the time to explain any health issues that are occurring, cares about our fur babies and whenever you have a question or concern is available to answer them. Thank you, Dr. Ordas. Thank you to the team at Steinway Court Vet for being kind and courteous. My Chloe is in great hands whenever we pay a visit.

I've been with dr Glasser for 15 yrs. 5 with another dog. One of his front desk girl on Saturday, makes the rules, my 15 yr bison, with heart failure will not see Mya anymore. So I advise don't go there. It's not about your dog it's the money. Mya is old so he has no use for her. I don't lie, that girl did. Out of medicine wouldn't let me pick up. Stay away, it's all about $$. I learned a big lesson. If you're looking for empathy , don't go there. And if you dog is old , he has no use for it. Mya is retaining water, and they denied her meds. Please be cautious. He not who you think he is! Sarah would love to talk to you. This is a terrible thing. Leaving mya without meds. Not to believe in me. He listens to a girl that knows nothing about me. Aggressive dogs should be addressed, I didn't need Mya getting bit. Or me This generation sucks.

Fantastic. We had been driving our dog out to Middle Island on Long Island for years because we didn’t want to change vets after moving to Queens. After a terrible experience at another vet here we went to Steinway two years ago and never looked back. The doctors are great. They don’t push unnecessary procedures. They listen to all your concerns and you never feel like they’re too busy.
