  Will never go back. 1st we had an appointment in May of 2026. With no notifications it was cancelled. The only way I found out was the fact that I was looking up the date and time for the girls to get done. So I rescheduled. We showed up for our appointments yesterday and was notified that in March of 2026 the girls rabies shot had expired. My husband responded by handing the groomer a form from the vets that our girls got updated 3 yrs shots in March of 2026. She took the forms looked at them and typed the information into their system. Then she proceeded to make the comment that they don't always have the ability to that information or have the time to look that stuff up either. Then the groomer questioned us about fleas. Yes, we have been having an issue with fleas. I explained to her that we tried Seresto flea collars but Angel went into seizures with it on. We tried an all natural flea collar from social media but our big dog ate his. The groomer appeared to know what we were talking about and did agree that that wasn't good. Plus we have tried powdering the girls with baking soda with no help and powdering with dimitrious earth powder with no help. We also admitted to using Dawn dish soap every time they got a bath. At this time we talked about trying Frontline Plus flea collars but to talk to our Vet first because of the Seresto problem. Well, the groomer did take the girls but they reluctantly went. Which is normal for Tank but not Angel. Angel put up the biggest fight this time. We were informed that they would be done about 4:00ish. Yes, the 2 together would take about 3 hours. Bath, flea dip & nails. Well, we left. 38 minutes later I received a phone call from the groomer that they couldn't take care of the girls. They were to infested with fleas. We needed to go back pick them up but they could bathe them, blow dry them and cut their nails. It would take a little while so not to hurry back. They would call us when the girls were done and ready. We went right back. We sat in the car for about 10 minutes. Tired of waiting we called inside and was informed that they were finishing up but the girls wouldn't be totally dry but a little damp. So we went in. The invoices for the girls were folded on the counter and the groomer was busy with another little dog who sat nicely on the table. No sound or sight of our girls. I took the invoices to pay my husband waited for the girls. Now, keep in mind I travel for a living and when I'm gone over a period of time I will Doordash treats, chews or toys from Petco to take home for my fur babies. So, I had points built up equalling a $120.07 credit. Yes, this is done on purpose to help pay for grooming. I also inrolled both girls into the premier program because I knew grooming for our girls would be a regular thing and I wanted a permanent groomer. Someone to build a relationship with. So, yes we have become a pretty good consistent customer to the Petco Co. Not anymore after the attitude of the groomer and the fact that something happened to our little Angel. Her right eye was swollen and she couldn't open it all the way. When we got home she would sit away from us and would shy away from us when we called her. We've had these girls a little over a year. We don't know much of their past or what they've been thru before we got them but because of their behavior we wonder how good it was so for someone to hurt 1 of them really bothers me and it won't happen. Not on my watch. Today Angel's eye is still swollen and bloodshot. She is opening it all the way as normal. She is also almost back to her normal self. Tank is the tough one and didn't seem bothered by the encounter yesterday. Keep in mind that Angel is always completed 1st then Tank gets her hair done. Because like I stated Tank usually is not interested in "spa day" and separation anxiety over comes her. I can't take our girls to someone who I can't trust to take care of my dogs and possibly hurt 1 of them on purpose. Plus, doesn't seem interested in treating them either.

  I love going to Petco specifically because of the staff. They always have a smile on their face and are willing to help with whatever you need! Wonderful customer service
