  I just had the greatest experience. Dr. Hackney and all of the staff were so patient and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is very calm and no stress for people and pets! Highly recommend this vet.

  When I called to make my appointment for my pup at the Heart of Chelsea the receptionist took a moment to see if there was a possibility of getting her in sooner as I was clearly upset. Dr. Hackney was very clear and concise with treatment and he has a lovely disposition. He made us feel comfortable, bringing our sweet pup in for care. We weren’t sure of the next steps and he guided us thoughtfully and respectfully. It seems palliative care was the next and best step for our dear sweet pup. We will be making the Heart of Chelsea our new Vet for our two other pups care as well.

  I had such a wonderful experience today at Heart of Chelsea Veterinary Group in Greenpoint! From the very beginning, everything felt organized, thoughtful, and centered around making sure my fur baby received the best possible care. I was able to book my appointment about five months in advance, and prior to the visit, I received an email asking about my pet’s previous veterinary records. I completed the requested information, and Heart of Chelsea coordinated with his previous veterinarian so that his records were already on file before we arrived. That level of preparation immediately impressed me. Our technician, Anastasia, was absolutely phenomenal. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and thorough. She carefully reviewed Jamal’s previous records to make sure he was on schedule and receiving exactly the vaccines and care he needed. Once she had everything she needed, Dr. Hackney introduced himself and took the time to walk me through what would be done during the visit. He was so kind, patient, and gentle with Jamal. My fur baby was definitely nervous, but Dr. Hackney was almost like an animal whisperer — Jamal didn’t cry once! What I appreciated most was that I never felt rushed. Dr. Hackney took the time to explain next steps, answer questions, and discuss care updates so that I knew exactly what Jamal needed moving forward. Dr. Hackney and Anastasia were truly phenomenal. This was, without question, the best veterinary experience I have had to date. I left feeling confident that Jamal was in caring and capable hands. I am so grateful to have Heart of Chelsea right here in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. They have definitely earned a loyal patient in Jamal!

  Doc Tristan Hackney and his team have been amazing ! Doc Tristan really took good care of my dog so did the team. He has been very professional, very much aware of how to treat the illness of my sweet pea. I cannot thank them enough!

  I had an incredible experience at Heart of Chelsea - GP location with the front desk, vet techs, assistants, and Dr. Hackney. My nervous rescue dog hardly ever finds comfort at the vet (and we dread it). The staff here is amazing - he was so comfortable with bloodwork, x-rays, and the exam. Everything was very price-transparent and rates were super reasonable. I am so happy we switched vets — wish we did it sooner! Thank you for the kind care and friendliness. 💕
