It was wonderful! Dr. Rassnick and staff are always so kind. We have been coming there with Bucky since 2023, and have been through some scary diagnoses. Everyone has always been so calm and kind, and Bucky gets the best care there. The girl that checked us in and out - I don't know her name but every time we come in she is always so, so kind! She does a great job. She can get swamped by patients and she still smiles and gives attention to each one. I absolutely applaud her. I work for a doctor's office and front desk staff doesn't get enough recognition. You can tell everyone there loves what they do and loves animals. They give exceptional care to my dog every time he comes in, and they are so kind and empathetic every time I talk to the doctors and staff, whether it be in person or on the phone. They care about the welfare of every single patient and make you feel comfortable about leaving your pet with them.

I just received incredibly exceptional care from everyone I encountered here, including the vet tech and doctor that saw my cat Marge today. I called in a few times before going in, and even over the phone, everyone was professional and helpful. My cat Marge had an urgent dental issue that needed professional attention while we wait for her to be seen by a specialist. Thank you SO, SO much for helping Marge and I today. I can tell you all are passionate about the animals you treat. This was my first visit, but I definitely will recommend it, and will come here in the future as needed. Marge sends you two paws up!

Let's cut to the chase. If you're looking at reviews for this place, then your fur baby is not doing well. Hopefully you live near this place because they are THE BEST place to for your pet oncology needs. It's clean and the people are super friendly and empathetic. The waiting area is big enough to keep rowdy animals separated and they have coffee free for clients. Dr. Rassnick is not only pleasant and straightforward, but he is your best option in this region. Literally the best animal oncologist in the state. This dude used to teach/train the oncologists coming out of Cornell. If you love your pet and want them to get the best treatment possible, this is the place to go.

I took my cat. The tech checked him and decided they could treat him but the wait would be 2 hours. They charged me 255.00 then told me my cat was stable and he would be fine waiting for his appointment 4 days later with his regular vet. We decided to leave, with the peace of mind that he was OK, stable. It was worth the 255.00. As we opened the door to leave, the receptionist told me to wait and called me back to the desk. THEY REFUNDED THE 255 because we hadn't seen the actual doctor. I was literally at a loss of words since I had already accepted the 255.00 was the cost for peace of mind at 2am sat. Morning. But to be refunded? Wow! My friend who is with me thought everything was fine before they refunded me. But after the refund she said she would actually go out and talk about this place to people and recommend it. Yeah the Gratitude I felt was huge.

I had an absolutely terrible experience here. The female receptionist was passive-aggressive, dismissive, and shockingly rude from the moment I arrived. I was told the system was first come, first served, yet they repeatedly allowed animals who had just walked in to be seen ahead of us. Apparently "first come, first served" means whatever they decide it means at the moment. What really pushed this experience over the edge was a conversation I had with the front desk. I explained that the wait time was extremely long and difficult to manage. Instead of showing any understanding, the receptionist on the phone essentially told me that if I didn't have the time to stay there all day, I should come back another time when I could "give my pet care." The implication was obvious: if I couldn't sit in a waiting room for ten hours, then I somehow didn't care about my cat. As a pet owner who was actively seeking medical attention for my animal, that comment was insulting, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, I was told the wait would be six hours. I stepped away for literally five minutes, and somehow that was enough for them to move me all the way to the back of the line and add another four hours to the wait. There was no concern, no explanation, and certainly no compassion for my cat. The waiting process itself was ridiculous. Instead of having a proper waiting area, they expected people to sit for hours in their vehicles in a hot parking lot (Image during winter). So not only are you worried about your sick pet, but you're also stuck baking in your car for most of the day while waiting for someone to acknowledge you. It felt less like a medical facility and more like a test of endurance. This place feels less like an animal hospital and more like a toll booth for desperate pet owners. They advertise a minimum charge of $250, but don't be surprised if the bill starts climbing toward $800 or more before you know it. Every interaction felt centered on extracting money rather than helping animals. The atmosphere is cold, chaotic, and unsettling. The staff acted as though worried pet owners were an inconvenience rather than people seeking help for family members. I've seen more warmth from a parking meter. continuously very unprofessional! If you value your pet, your time, or your wallet, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, and I left feeling that my cat's well-being was far less important to them than my credit card. Horrible service. Unprofessional staff. An experience so absurd it would be funny if people's pets weren't involved.
