  Agree with NAV's review Feel like the doctors there were very money motivated. Charge you if you ask them send your prescriptions to an outside pharmacy as the meds were more than 2x the price there. Unneeded follow up appointments. Prices high. Poor Parking. Time to move on to another Vet

  Our first time there and very impressed. Our pet got a thorough exam and the doctor reviewed all the info with us via phone due to covid...we were in the car outside. Her advice seems to have addressed our issue even though its only been a few hours! She gave us personal time and attention despite having a parking lot full of other patients. Highly recommend.

  The vets at dfah are the best. They have been taking care of my 2 dogs and 2 cats and bunny for years. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Update: Though my bunny passed away, my current 2 dogs, 2 cats and bearded dragon are doing great. I trust Dr Mendelsohn completely. He always explains everything in a way I can understand and answers any questions as well. My pets are very relaxed when being examined too. Through injuries and illnesses, DFAH has been there for us.

  I took my cat Flora Joy here, and ended up loving the staff, Sue, Jose and Dr. Mendelsohn. While there, I met a couple who had just brought in their adorable dog named Bambi, who was very sick. I do not know what treatment she received. but the couple seemed a little less nervous about her after the visit, and it seemed that they had been going to Dr. Mendelsohn for years. This was my first trip, so I was very nervous myself, but I liked Dr. Mendelsohn from the very first moment I met him. He and his assistant Jose we're so gentle with Flora, and very loving too. it made my heart happy. Only two things to be aware of: Dr. Mendelsohn has wonderful birds, one of whom was free to climb around in the office. If you are allergic to birds, you might want to take a Clarity beforehand. But do know that the birds are gentle and friendly. The second thing is that the steps leading up to Dr. Mendelsohn's office are very steep. If I had not had a younger friend with me who carried my very dear but overweight cat up and down the stairs for me, I would have had difficulty. But I do believe that if you were to call the office from outside the office, upon arrival, that Jose would be more than happy to come outside and help you up and down the stairs. Overall, a very special place, and Jose and Dr. Mendelsohn are wonderful!!!
