My fur baby was cut in two different places during grooming, and no one informed me about it. I only discovered the injuries afterward. I am very disappointed by the lack of care and communication. I will not be returning.
- SYSteven YoungsteinJun 14, 20263.0I’m a Vital Care Premier member and brought my dog Hudson here for a full groom on 6/12/26. I came back to Romel because he did a great job on Hudson’s bath and brush a month earlier, but this visit was a big step down. I was charged an extra $15 add-on without any call or prior approval, and when I questioned it I was first told it was for “extra brushing” and then that it was actually coded wrong and should have been $10 for “extra scissoring.” Hudson is brushed daily at home and was bathed and brushed barely a month ago, so this didn’t make sense, and the changing explanation made me lose confidence in the validity of the extra charge. The haircut itself was also disappointing. His head was cut much shorter than his body and not blended, so he looks uneven. At drop-off, I was pressured to buy add-on packages and upgrades for things I understood to already be included in the base groom price. I’ve since contacted customer care and filled out multiple surveys, and I’m still waiting for someone from the store or management to reach out and actually resolve this. I want to keep using this location, but I need better transparency and communication around pricing and upcharges.
