Everyone here was fantastic, kind, and compassionate. I found a cat on the side of the road and wanted to get her help, and called around to several places that couldn't see me. When I called here, they were able to get me in the same day which was great. Both ladies at the front desk were super sweet and kind, and the vet and vet tech were both knowledgeable, compassionate, and understanding. Everyone treated my cat like she was a superstar! I will be back to this location <3

I pay monthly $44.95 for my one dog and $66.95 for my other dog to receive routine visits and their vaccinations, etc. However even with paying this amount of money they continuously cancel our appointments. The last four scheduled appointments they have cancelled. The last time they cancelled was an hour before the appointment. My dog has extreme separation anxiety so he takes trazodone so when they cancelled the last appointment we said we need a prescription. They tell us the prescription will be ready by tomorrow. Went to pick up the prescription and they told us the doctor refused to fill it because the dog hasn't been here on visit. I remind them that it was because they continually cancel our appointments. Our dog is also lapsed on his rabies shot because again they continuously cancel our appointment. To complain about the service they give you a cooperate number, cooperate gives you an email, email say district manager will contact you. Try to get in contact with someone who is in charge at Banfield name Paige and they tell us oh she stepped out she will call you back. Still hear nothing. I told cooperate we will not be renewing our wellness plan with them and the person tried to say we will waive one month fee for you to renew. They also overprice every item. For example the trazodone is about 3x the price at chewy. When I called them to send it to chewy because of the price difference then they tell you we will price match chewy. Not to mention you think all prices are included for example with our puppy I chose the plan for $66.95 because it included the puppy being spayed. Upon drop off that's when you learn that they charge you for additional items, a cone, if they are close to being in heat, etc. They continue to just rip you off and the communication is horrible.

After four hours of my dog being at the Vet, after being dropped off, which in the past hasn’t been any more than three hours, I began calling Banfield. I was placed on hold twice. Never spoke to a human. Was put on hold each time 15 to 20 minutes. Called back got a human got put on hold told me the Vet would be with me shortly. Got put on another 15 minute hold then got disconnected. While standing in the lobby, inquiring as to the status of my dog the vet called me to tell me that she needed to run a test and it was gonna be another 20 minutes or so. That turned into another hour before we finally left. We had blood work drawn and come to find out, the machine was not working. I received a call from the vet that same evening and was told that she needed to come back and have her blood work drawn. I explained to them that she was literally gonna walk in the door, be taken back and have her blood work drawn and then I’m leaving with her because she gets too anxious and upset when she’s at the vet. Paige, the manager at the Clifton Park Banfield, said she would call me on Monday to discuss things further. When I Showed up at Banfield on Tuesday because I never received a phone call and asked to speak to Paige, I was told she was off for the next two days. I am still waiting for that phone call. So, I had to bring my dog back again a couple of days later to have her blood work drawn and was charged for a well visit, even though it was just simply dropping her off, getting her blood work taken and leaving with her. I sent a complaint to Banfield the corporate office well over a week and a half ago and still have not received a response back from them. So apparently our pets are not like their family because they can’t be bothered to respond and reach out including the manager of the Banfield in Clifton Park. I will say the manager from the Saratoga Banfield did come down on the day I brought my dog in to make sure she was simply in and out very quickly because she gets anxious and goes into panic mode when she is at the vet. Dawn was wonderful, Paige, not so much. I will not be taking my dog or cat there anymore. Every time I bring an animal there, which I’ve been doing for many years, there is always an issue. I was one of six people that day that had not received a phone call that just showed up to Banfield to pick up their pets and the excuse was it’s a new computer system. If you are having issues with your computer system, perhaps you should have all the staff come in on Sunday work out all the kinks before you open for business on Monday and inconvenience your customers and even more importantly, our pets. Even when I checked in ahead of time, I still had a 15 to 20 minute wait checking in and again checking out. I received my summary with no weight listed on it although they made a big deal a lot of getting their weight when you go there. Was a line of six people waiting to check out another staff member either left one person at the desk to either go on break or leave for the day. Completely unacceptable. I work in the medical field if I treated one of our patients like that, I wouldn’t expect them to return either, but I would certainly be apologetic which still waiting for a phone call from Paige.

We’ve been using Banfield in Clifton park for years! We unfortunately had to give our beautiful Zero his final send off. I can’t thank Sue enough, she was handling everything the morning I called in and was beyond compassionate. Huge shout out to Dr. Legland for helping get Zero all the support he needed and with the continuous comfort support for Zero at home, encouraging to call with ANY questions. Thank you Dr. Estrada for validating all my decisions and giving Zero the most peaceful send off. The Clifton Park team has been nothing but helpful with our floofy boy.

Everytime we get Dr. LAKELAND we have issues. We made a comprehensive appointment for our dog, she was supposed to get her shots. It should be in our dogs file that dr. Lakeland is not to see our dog. We made the appointment with Dr. Estrada when I checked our dog in, the board said Estrada. I am grandma, I only drop off and pick up the dog, all decisions are made by my daughter, her owner. Which is why there are TWO phone numbers on file. Dr. Lakeland decided to change the appointment to an illness visit because my daughter mentioned the dog had diarrhea, never gave her any of her shots, proceeded to tell me that we made the appointment with her and not any other Dr. She told us that we had to wait in a room for her because we didn't call her back when in fact we did call her back and waited on hold for over 10 mins and the person my daughter talked to said our dog was ready. Dr. Lakeland said it was because she was worried about our dog not eating and loosing weight yet they are still saying she is overweight. She blamed me for my attitude yet she has no clue how much pain I am in being disabled with a 60 pound dog pulling on me and having to deal with incompetence. I have never had an unpleasant experience here except when dealing with Dr. Lakeland. All this childness and the dog never got her shots, if she was so worried about our dog who had heartworm when we adopted her so many years ago and it's in her file. Dr. Lakeland would of made sure my dog had her vaccines. All the B.S done in front of my child who is on the spectrum btw
