  Worst store ever i literally stood in there for 1hour plus waiting for help that I never received. The lady told me she doesn't work in the fish department and nobody would come to help as they already left to go home this was around 3pm. I left without getting what I needed.. I wish I could rate it 0. Don't go here at all

  Shopping in the clearance section ( we all enjoy a good deal especially with our pets outgrowing products we spend top dollar on) found a harness with a tag on it hanging in clearance for $9 at checkout comes up $46.99. Employee calls management to to have him override. Walked over and was told thats not whats not clearance. It might’ve been plugged there. Was offered 20% off but thats not the price on the peg we collected the harness from. The other one had no tag on it was offered but i do not wish to buy someone elses return at a quarter of the price. ( animals are picky when it comes to other scents) do better petco

  I was in the Petco store in Carle Place NY today and was distressed to see a small tank with many overcrowded mice in it. Depressing that a living thing has to survive in those conditions. Then I walked further in the store and saw a metal cage low off the ground with MANY birds packed inside. Why isn’t this illegal?? I left the store and will buy all my dog and cat food now from Chewey.

  You guys clearly have a moth infestation in the Purina aisle. We bought a bag of the Purina Pro Plan salmon puppy food and noticed the coloring was off - a few days later we find weird webbing in the food, like spider webs. A quick Google searched revealed that these were leftover from MOTH LARVA infesting the food. We threw out the bag and we back to the store - the second we stepped into the Purina aisle, husband and I noticed moths flying around and the webbing we found in the food on the shelves. I’m super skeeved out by this. We ended up going to a different store and the puppy food was the correct color and free of webbing. Please do better, these moths can infest people’s homes!
