Dear Petco Customer Service/Management, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my experience at my local Petco store today while shopping for items for my dog, Blake. From the moment I entered the store, I was disappointed by the lack of customer service. I was not greeted or acknowledged upon arrival. More concerning, the store manager, Keema, appeared to be more focused on being on her phone and having a personal conversation with another employee who was off the clock than assisting customers or overseeing the store. When I approached Keema for assistance, I did not feel that she was helpful or attentive to my needs. I ultimately had to repeatedly seek assistance from someone else just to get the help I needed. As a customer, I should not have to beg an employee for basic assistance, especially when the person responsible for managing the store is present. I also want to specifically acknowledge Ria, the cashier, because she appeared to be doing her best under the circumstances. Ria had a long line of customers and there was no apparent backup or additional assistance being provided. Meanwhile, the store manager was nearby but did not appear to step in to help alleviate the situation. This created an unnecessary burden on Ria and resulted in a poor experience for the customers waiting in line. I understand that employees may have responsibilities beyond assisting customers, but the behavior and lack of urgency I witnessed from the store manager was concerning. A store manager should be setting the standard for customer service, supporting employees when the store becomes busy, and making customers feel welcomed and valued. I am asking Petco to please review this situation and address the customer service and management concerns at this location. I would also appreciate it if management would follow up regarding how situations like this are handled and what steps will be taken to ensure customers receive the level of service they should expect from Petco. I have been a customer looking to purchase products for my dog, and I should not leave the store feeling ignored, frustrated, and inconvenienced. I hope Petco takes this complaint seriously and uses it as an opportunity to improve the customer experience at this location.

Person in the front is unprofessional. I walked in to ask if they accepted cats for treatment because my cat was injured, instead of asking me what can I help you with or greeting me didn’t.Then after I asked her if she could help me or give me advice she proceeded to ignore me. There are ways to go about things like “give me a second” but instead she kept looking at the computer. I’ve worked in customer service before so I’m not one to go crazy on things like this but when someone’s pet is injured u might want to reconsider how to approach someone.

The cashier, lady with short hair is disgusting, she had nasty attitude when I asked very simple question. If she is not happy at her work place she needs to resign and let others work who is happy and has good costumer service skills. Regarding the stocking issue, if you guys tell costumers that goods are coming in store on Thursday evening and when costumers take time and come in on Friday morning for the product and there is nothing stocked it is not good. The same lady I mentioned already even did not look into system if the product was in store and maybe not been brought on the shelves. Ave Y perco branch is way much better, they smile and answer all questions without attitude
