  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Petco on 86th Street. I came to the store to buy food for my cats, as I have done many times before. Since I am pregnant, I need to use the restroom more frequently. After selecting my items, I politely asked to use the restroom, but I was refused and told that their policy does not allow customers to use it. As a result, I had to leave all of my purchases behind and rush out to find a restroom elsewhere. This completely ruined my shopping experience and honestly ruined my day. What makes this even more frustrating is that I went to another Petco location on Avenue U afterward, where I had no issues at all. I was able to buy the food for my cats, use the restroom when needed, and all of the employees were kind, understanding, and professional. The difference between these two locations was shocking. The staff at the Avenue U store treated customers with respect, while the experience at the 86th Street location felt uncaring and dismissive. As a loyal Petco customer, I expected much better, especially given my situation. I hope management reviews how customers are treated at this location and shows a little more compassion and common sense in the future.

  This review is for Theresa, dog trainer at Petco-Bensonhurst. My dog Peaches completed her 4th private training today. She is very knowledgeable and my dog gets very excited when she sees her. I plan to schedule additional training classes with her in the future. She truly is a gem!

  Inconsiderate cashier. Alongside another item, I purchased a single dog chew and put the chew inside a small clear bag offered near the bins. The cashier took it out and threw the bag away. Then, he proceeded to smear his fingers all over the Whimzee. He played with it the entire time, even swinging it around, and repeatedly slammed it against the counter as he spent multiple minutes searching for the item barcode in the 1-2 page catalog. On top of that, he scanned the incorrect size. Almost seemed like intentionally malicious behavior. I purchased the same item from another pet store chain where the cashier didn’t handle it with their bare hands and had the foresight & sense to use a napkin. Also quick with scanning the correct barcode.

  I selected curbside pickup for my order and followed the pickup instructions. After waiting outside for 15 minutes without any assistance, I had to enter the store and collect my order myself. I was disappointed with the curbside pickup experience and would appreciate your feedback on what happened.
