  I would have given 5 stars but the cashier was busy conversing with another employee and failed to ask if I wanted to use my rewards, when I brought it to his attention he stated "it was only $2". Everyone else was very helpful and assisted me with a smile and very knowledgeable of the store.

  Store and staff are incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. Each went above and beyond my expectations of the standard petco experience. All of them were ready to educate and reccomend solutions/product for me and my pets.

  I was very disappointed with the customer service I received during my visit. I am a paying customer, and I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. The POS system asked for my phone number, so I entered it as requested. When the screen appeared to freeze and continued asking for the phone number, I tried to interact with the screen. Instead of calmly explaining that the system was having an issue, the cashier raised her voice at me and told me not to touch the screen while there are a lot of customers in the line too. I understand that technology can freeze or have glitches, and that is not the cashier’s fault. However, it is also not the customer’s fault. There was no reason to speak to me in that manner, especially when I was simply following what the POS screen was asking me to do. I hope management addresses this because customers should never be made to feel like they are stupid or at fault because of a problem with the store’s system. A little patience and professionalism would have made a big difference.

  Went for the cat samples and they never started the event. They kept saying someone was going to come and never did and they were rude about it

  This petco needs to reevaluate how animals are purchased in their store. They need to require minor to have a parent signature or a guardian. This store allowed a minor to purchase an animal without parents permission by simply going by the advice of one of their workers by getting an 18-year-old to sign for the animal for the animal to be purchased. No child should be allowed to purchase an animal without a parent permission. When I spoke with the manager regarding my situation he had the audacity to laugh and smile at the fact that I was unable to return the animal because my child no longer had the receipt. This store needs better policies.
