  First time coming to this store looking for fish and one employee Ashely was so amazing, she is very helpful and stay with you to the end, ASHELY YOU ARE AMAZING I APPRECIATE your help 👍🏾👍🏾

  There were many people with dogs in the store because grooming is done there. Therefore, if you or your children are afraid of dogs, this is likely something to take into account.

  I had better service in my previous visit to the store however, yesterday it was a bad experience. Only two employees in the store which one of them was in a cash register. The second person was on the floor, when I asked for help, She told me give me a few minutes , I have a customer with me , when she finished with her customer, she disappeared in the back for about 20 minutes. I was waiting there for someone to help and I have to ask again and again till someone came. I will not go to the store again.

  I’ve been bringing my dog to this Petco for grooming every week or every other week, and I’ve been a loyal Petco customer for almost 6 years. At this location, my dog typically sees Dereck for her baths or Amore (I believe that’s her name) for her cuts, and I’ve always had a good experience with them. Unfortunately, today I had no choice but to have someone else groom her, and that groomer was Bianca. This was, without a doubt, the WORST grooming experience I have ever had. I always check my dog for mats before leaving my home and take care of any that I find myself. Bianca completed my dog’s assessment BEFORE the bath and specifically checked her face and ears for mats. At that time, she told me everything was fine. When I returned to pick up my dog, Bianca suddenly told me that my dog was matted all over her face and proceeded to scold me about it. She also complained that my dog doesn’t like having her nails done. This information is already documented in my dog’s profile. I know she doesn’t like having her nails done, which is why I either do them myself or have her veterinarian take care of them. So I’m confused as to why Bianca attempted to do something she already knew my dog was uncomfortable with. What was even more concerning was Bianca’s attitude and the way she spoke to me. She raised her voice at me and claimed that my dog bit her. My dog has NEVER bitten a groomer before, and if she was uncomfortable or behaving in a way that made the grooming unsafe, the appropriate thing to do would have been to stop the service and contact me immediately. I had to raise my voice and MATCH her energy in order for her to CHECK HERSELF! I believe dogs deserve patience, understanding, and compassion, especially when they are in a grooming environment where they may already feel anxious or uncomfortable. Dogs are essentially like children who cannot tell us what is wrong or how they feel. If a groomer feels that they cannot safely or comfortably work with a particular dog, the right thing to do is stop the grooming and have the owner pick the dog up or have another groomer step in. I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by Bianca’s service and attitude toward both my dog and me as her owner. After being a loyal Petco customer and Vital Care member for nearly 6 years this experience was incredibly upsetting. I sincerely hope management addresses this situation and ensures that dogs are treated with patience, professionalism, and respect.
