  Dr. Andrew Torcia is truly one of the most caring and compassionate veterinarians you could ever ask for. When I first got my cat, I spent so much time researching the best veterinarians in New York City, and that’s how I found Heart of Chelsea. From my very first visit, I knew I had found the right place. The clinic is always calm, spotless, and welcoming, and every single staff member is kind, patient, and genuinely cares about both the animals and their owners. What means the most to me is that my cat is never scared when she goes—she’s relaxed and comfortable, which says so much about the environment they’ve created. I truly love this practice and can’t imagine trusting my cat with anyone else. Thank you, Dr. Torcia and the entire team, for the incredible care, kindness, and peace of mind you give to your patients and their families.

  The staff here is really great. Dr Torchia is super thorough and practical at the same time. There’s never a long wait and the office is very nice. Highly recommended

  Absolutely terrible experience here. First of all, loved the experience with Doctor Andrew Torchia. Amazing and patient doctor. But the practice itself is absolute garbage- this office claims to have sent out my dog's blood sample, lab "lost" it, lied to me about having it, and now kind of shrugs it off like oops my bad? Tries to give me some suggestions on how to move forward with my paperwork for my dog. How about no, give me a solution to the storm of problems that you people have created, not suggestions. Do I need to explain the difference? 0 accountability so far. Corporate playing hot potato with who is responsible too, which is ridiculous. Why is the only person who can do anything about this an assistant manager? Like does she not have a boss to report to who can actually deal with this situation? Absolutely feels like they give 0 fs about accountability. And they have the gall to market that they have a special team to deal with international travel? I feel bad for whoever employs them for international travel requests if this is their standard of treatement. What a joke- I will be exploring legal options for negligence.

  Heart of Chelsea PH took care of our pup during the last few years of his life, and we truly could not have been luckier to have found them. The entire team showed so much compassion, care, and patience every step of the way. They provided comfort and peace not only to our dog, but also to us during some very difficult moments. We are incredibly grateful for everything they did for our family.

  This will be the hardest but most important review that my heart will ever write. I have been coming to Heart of Chelsea on the 46 street location as a referral since I need a new vet for my cat who has been losing weight rapidly during covid of year 2020. This is where I met Dr. Torchia. The love and dedication he gave to my cat on day one was such a relief to me. When we were able to find out what was happening with my cat, we immediately took action. 6 years later, and 4 pets added, Dr. Torchia has been my to go "day one". I don't see me going to any other veterinary. Even when he moved to Brooklyn, I needed to follow. The same cat he first treated in 2020 came to him one last time in 2026 to say goodbye. My cat, Mutti, passed away at the age of 19 years with Dr. Torchia present. I wouldn't have had it any other way. I want to say thank you to him and his team who constantly devoted their time to our precious babies. The care and the love they present. The explanation to every move they make when it comes to our fur babies so we have a better understanding of what is happening at the moment...these are priceless. I will continue to praise this team for the wonderful way they handle my situation. I want to give flowers to the doctor who helped me deal with a cat who was sick and brought him back to health and who closed a chapter with me with Mutti's passing to the pet rainbow. Thank you Dr. Torchia.
