  I’m so glad I switched to this vet. Everyone there is competent. The front desk called to let me know they were running late, which was appreciated. The tech (Garnet?) is so good at holding my dog for blood draws. He’s a magician. And the vets are smart, friendly, and don’t push a bunch of unnecessary procedures.

  My dogs Squid (14) and Otter (5) have been going to Heart of Brooklyn for over 5 years. Otter in particular, is a frequent flyer. The whole team at HOB is kind and receptive. Every vet tech knows my dog's names by sight alone. The vets at HOB have helped me navigate through all of Otter's allergies and ailments, as well as helping Squid to age in the most thoughtful and pain free way. They always offer me options for treatment, while never pressuring me into any certain path. I'm given a quote before all labs and procedures, so there are never surprise cost or bills. They also always provide me with all the documents needed to file insurance claims for reimbursement. We love the whole team at HOB, especially Susan and reception, who always makes sure our appointments are properly scheduled and that we are prepared for whatever testing or samples are needed. I will continue to visit HOB for many years to come.

  I’ve been taking my pup to this vet for a few years now. The service is great, the staff is friendly. I’ve been very satisfied with their appointment availability and responsiveness. It’s a little pricey, but what vet in Brooklyn isn’t. Would recommend!

  Honestly think they care about money first and your dog second. Switched vets and it’s been night and day compared to how they run here. There are better vets within the area that are more professional, kinder, and affordable. 2 stars because I’m sure not all staff are bad but can say I never left here feeling genuinely good about my visit. Wasn’t until I switched vets when I saw what service should be like.
