Bond Vet — WIlliamsburg is a modern and friendly veterinary clinic in Brooklyn, at the corner of Driggs Ave and N. 4th. We offer walk-in and urgent care services — that means anything that requires timely medical attention, be it a wound, a rash, diarrhea, coughing, behavioral changes, limping or other non-life-threatening symptoms. We also offer primary care, such as wellness visits, vaccinations, spay/neuter, dental cleaning, mass removal and specialty orthopedic surgeries. In short, we can be your all-in-one vet. Our mission at Bond Vet is to strengthen the human-animal bond through better pet care — because we know cats, dogs and pet parents haven’t always enjoyed trips to the vet, and we think that shouldn’t be the case. First, you can book online, call us, or just walk in. Second, our clinics are friendly and welcoming, with warm lighting, dog treat bars, comfy furniture, toys and hydration stations. Third, our team is compassionate, caring, and completely dedicated to providing best-in-class medical care to your pet. Fourth, our in-house tech team has developed a suite of tools to make medical records easily accessible and to make it easy to connect with our vet team, via chat, telehealth or our 24/7 BondAid helpline. Fifth, we’re big on transparency — we know price is a major factor when it comes to caring for your pet, and we will always offer several paths forward, along with pricing for any diagnostics or next steps. Our team will never pressure you into more tests and treatments than you’re comfortable with, you won’t be surprised by a bill, and we’ll help you file pet insurance claims to save you time. We’re creating a new kind of vet experience that works better for the pets and the people, and we think you’ll enjoy our approach — come on by for routine or urgent care. I can’t say enough good things about Bond Vet Williamsburg. During some very stressful and emotional moments with my fur babies Nala and Oreo, the team has always made me feel supported, heard, and genuinely cared for.
Dr. Chamberlain and Dr. Spetsieris have both been incredibly compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient. They took the time to explain everything clearly and always treated my pets with kindness and empathy.
Every staff member I’ve encountered has been professional, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we walk in. You can truly tell that everyone there cares deeply about both the animals and their owners.
Thank you to the entire Bond Vet Williamsburg team for always being there for my babies and for making difficult times feel a little easier.

I do not recommend this location as an urgent care facility. We brought in our 4-month-old puppy as a walk-in at 11 AM and were told the earliest available appointment was 3 PM. Even then, staff explained there was still no guarantee Max would actually be seen by a doctor.
In my opinion, that defeats the purpose of calling it “urgent care.” If your pet is experiencing a real emergency, I would strongly recommend going to a local veterinarian or a true emergency animal hospital instead.
The Williamsburg location appears overwhelmed, with more pets than the staff can realistically handle. Unless they add additional doctors, I don’t think this location is equipped to function effectively as an urgent care clinic.
I was especially disappointed that despite the long wait and uncertainty, the visit still came with a very expensive fee simply for the possibility of being seen. Overall, this was not a good experience, and I would not recommend this facility for urgent pet care.

We have been bringing our pets to Bond Vet Williamsburg for years, and I truly cannot say enough amazing things about this team. Every single visit leaves us feeling reassured, informed, and genuinely cared for. What stands out most is how clearly and thoroughly everything is explained — they never rush through anything, and we never leave confused or uncertain about our pets’ care. They take the time to answer every question with patience, compassion, and incredible attention to detail.
Dr. Mai is absolutely incredible. Her directness, knowledge, and calm approach always make us feel like our pets are in the best possible hands. She explains everything so clearly and honestly, which gives us so much confidence and reassurance during every visit. Dr. Haber is equally wonderful and consistently goes above and beyond with attention to detail and genuine care. You can tell they truly care about every animal they see.
The entire staff is amazing, and Kim and Kat at the front desk deserve a special shoutout for always being so sweet and welcoming. It means so much that they remember our pets’ names every time we come in. Those small personal touches make such a difference and really show how much they care.
We are beyond grateful for the love, attentiveness, and exceptional care Bond Vet Williamsburg has given our pets over the years. Highly, highly recommend!

I am deeply devastated and traumatized by my experience with Bond Vet regarding my dog, Knuckles. What happened to me and my family felt manipulative, dismissive, and completely lacking in compassion during one of the worst moments of our lives.
Knuckles was not just a pet — he is my partner’s service animal and part of a therapist-supported treatment plan. He provides emotional and medical support that is incredibly important to our household. When he became seriously ill, I made it clear that I wanted to save him and that I was willing to pay $3,000 toward his treatment immediately. Instead of working with me or helping me explore options, I was told that amount would not be enough and was discouraged from trying to transfer him to another veterinary hospital because I was told that nowhere else would accept that amount either. I felt trapped, emotionally overwhelmed, and pressured into surrendering my dog in order for him to survive.
What makes this even more upsetting is that the moment I realized the surrender paperwork would permanently take my dog away from me, I immediately tried to reverse it. I repeatedly stated that I did NOT want to surrender Knuckles and that I was willing to pay whatever costs were necessary to continue his treatment and keep him with our family. My partner also wanted to step in financially and take responsibility for the bills. Despite this, I was not given a meaningful opportunity to reverse the surrender even though my request was made immediately after signing under emotional distress.
I was also deeply disturbed by an inappropriate comment made by Dr. Mai. During this process, she suggested that because I have children, I may not be able to afford my dog’s treatment and that my kids might “need the money more.” I found this comment extremely unprofessional, judgmental, and hurtful. My financial situation and my role as a parent should never have been used to make assumptions about my ability or willingness to care for my dog. I came there trying to save a member of my family, and instead I felt judged and dismissed.
After everything happened, I began reaching out to Bond Vet leadership for answers and accountability. I filed a formal complaint because the entire situation felt deeply wrong to me from the beginning. I have been emailing Jacqueline Simonian Regional Medical Director at Bond Vet who was supposed to call me directly regarding my complaint, but that call never happened. Now my emails are not even being responded to, which has only added to my frustration and emotional distress.
I genuinely believe my concerns were not taken seriously, and I have suspicions that someone involved may have wanted to keep my dog for themselves. Whether or not that is true, the lack of transparency, communication, compassion, and willingness to work with me financially has completely destroyed my trust in Bond Vet and with that I have reason to question the motives and conduct of the staff involved. No family should ever feel pressured into surrendering their beloved dog while actively trying to pay for treatment and begging for another chance to keep their pet.
Bond Vet failed to show transparency, compassion, professionalism, and respect during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life, and I believe other pet owners deserve to know exactly how this situation was handled.

I had an extremely upsetting experience at Bond Vet Williamsburg and feel the need to share it so others are aware.
First, the pricing was incredibly high, and there were no payment plan options offered at all. I was already in a stressful situation with my dog, Knuckles, who is my emotional support animal, and instead of working with me or offering any flexibility, they made it feel completely transactional and unaffordable.
What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of communication and compassion. I tried reaching out multiple times, expressing my situation and asking for help to get my dog back. Instead of working with me or even showing basic understanding, they did nothing to assist—and ultimately gave him away to someone else. That was devastating.
At no point did they try to understand how important Knuckles is to me or how emotionally distressing this situation was. There was no effort to explain options clearly, no empathy, and no consideration for how their actions would impact me.
This experience felt careless and deeply insensitive. In a place where you expect care and support during vulnerable moments, I instead felt dismissed and taken advantage of. I would not recommend this location to anyone who expects transparency, compassion, or any level of flexibility in difficult situations.
I feel so bad on how this world is turning to be may God be with us all .
1 Timothy 6:10, which warns that craving money causes people to wander from faith and experience deep sorrow. Money is viewed as a neutral tool, while greed is the destructive force.
I love you Knuckles & I miss you for ever !
They will take advantage of you !
