Bond Vet — Park Slope is a thorough and modern veterinary clinic in the Park Slope neighborhood of South Brooklyn, on 5th Avenue between Degraw and St. John’s Place. We are a veterinary clinic for walk-in and urgent care for pets, meaning any symptom that requires timely treatment or attention, whether it’s a wound, diarrhea, a rash, limping, coughing, breathing problems, behavioral changes or other serious symptoms. Our mission at Bond Vet is to strengthen the human-animal bond through better veterinary care. While we specialize in urgent care, we offer all medical services that a primary care clinic does, including routine wellness exams, vaccinations, spay and neuter, mass removals, dental cleanings, and even specialty orthopedic surgeries — you can come to us for immediate care, and we are also happy to be your primary care veterinary clinic. You’ll notice quickly that Bond Vet feels different, and that’s intentional. We designed our clinics to be welcoming and warm, with soft lighting, a jerky treat bar, sniffable spaces, toys, comfortable furniture, and hydration stations. And that’s just in the lobby — our clinics are outfitted with state-of-the-art treatment areas to give our team the room and tools they need to practice their very best medicine. Our caring and compassionate team is wholeheartedly dedicated to providing best-in-class medical care to your pet, whatever the reason for your visit. Both our team and client experience are powered by technology — we use smart tech every day, and we think it deserves a place in veterinary medicine. Our records are digitized and stored in the app so you always have access to medical records, vaccination records, and any medication history. Our app and website make it easy to book a visit and chat with our medical team. We know price is a major factor in veterinary care, which is we will always offer you options and pricing before we perform any diagnostics or next steps. Our team will not pressure you into more diagnostics or treatments than you’re comfortable doing, and our care coordinators will help you file pet insurance claims to save you the hassle. We started Bond Vet because we want a more modern, intuitive vet experience, and we think you’ll enjoy the Bond experience — bring your pet for routine or urgent care. Bond Vet - Park Slope is located at 157 5th Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Walk in, call us or book online at bondvet.com.
They’re always so considerate and kind when I bring in my anxious pet. The costs are transparent and always give the option to remove any tests or procedures I don’t need. Highly recommend for anyone who wants their pet to feel safe!

Everyone at Bond Vet - Park Slope has been very kind, and they were flexible in changing my dog’s quick vaccine appointment into a full exam when some unexpected health issues came up. She’s always happy to run in the door here despite the sometimes-uncomfortable medical procedures!

They completely missed that my cat needs surgery. After a few days of the treatment plan they gave me i noticed increased discomfort & she wasn’t progressing in recovery. I brought her Forrest Hills Cat Hospital where the vet quickly let me know she has Entropia & needs surgery because she’s currently living in pain. The new vet boarded her for a few days and when I came to pick her up she was purring with them.
Original review:
I won’t bring my cat back here & if you have a timid or squeamish cat, afraid of the vet i do not recommend. I brought my cat in with an infected eye, hoping to get antibiotics that are easier to give to her (she hates her face being touched). The vets i dealt with had no patience for her. They did not give her an ounce of warm energy, or try to warm her up to them. They came in relatively aggressive and kept referencing her not performing well at the vet. The initial girl that took her in was visibly annoyed by my cat being afraid, yet did nothing to make her feel comfortable before shoving a thermometer in her ear. Usually when i bring her to a vet they pet her, give her some love and try to make her comfortable. This whole experience felt aggressive and traumatizing to my animal who is typically VERY trusting & warm to new people.
I’m happy my pet got the medicine she needed, but even her summary says certain tests weren’t done because she was “not complaint”. Isn’t your job as a vet to perform the tests for the health of the animal?? She’s a cat??

We had such a wonderful experience with the Bond Vet Park Slope team during our kitten Naru’s spay surgery and recovery. Everyone was incredibly kind, communicative, and thoughtful throughout the entire process, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel very reassuring and seamless.
The team took great care of Naru and was always patient with our questions, from pre-op through post-op recovery. We especially appreciated how warm and attentive everyone was, and how clearly everything was explained along the way.
The clinic itself is also beautiful, clean, and very calming. You can tell the team genuinely cares about both pets and their owners.
Thank you again to the entire Park Slope team for taking such great care of Naru 🩶

Felt like a shake down. Took my cat away from me to check vitals. Don't think they even took him out of the carrier. Exactly the same set up with blanket covering it as when I got there. When I went to Banfield for first initial visit, they checked my cat right in front of me. How do you claim to be a vet?!? I feel like reading these reviews, the visit was an utter waste of time. Like other REAL, Honest bad reviews, they gave me a price breakdown of something like $3,000!!! I just wanted a blood test for my cat. Geez. This is crazy. Good to know. Will not be back. Oh yeah asked for the breakdown of fees as a copy & they acted like that was odd. Hmm. Acted like my cat has ringworm. He does NOT! What am I an idiot & can't do my own online research. Also, quoted me he was breathing heavy. Yeah strange people. You took him away from his owner. New experience. He's an indoor cat. Told me go to emergency. A lot of these animal clinics in the area are doing this. I have looked like at least 5 of them up online with reviews. This should not be happening. Shame!
