Bond Vet - Bed Stuy is located at 1134 Fulton Street, in the heart of Brooklyn’s Bed Stuy neighborhood and convenient to Crown Heights and Bushwick. Bond Vet pioneered the concept of urgent care for pets, offering a caring, convenient clinic with late and convenient hours to provide timely medical care for urgent symptoms that can worsen with time: diarrhea, wound, eye and ear issues, rashes, coughing, limping, behavioral changes and other non-life-threatening symptoms. Because our collaborative and highly trained veterinary doctors and nurses comes from a broad background of general practice and emergency care, they are well equipped to handle a comprehensive range of cases, from primary care (routine wellness visits, vaccines, spay/neuter dental cleaning, mass removal) to more unique cases, like specialty orthopedic surgeries and cryptorchid neuters. In short, Bond Vet is here to be your one-stop shop for veterinary services. We created Bond Vet to bring veterinary medicine into the modern world, and we are here to make it more convenient and enjoyable than ever to get the vet care you need, when you need it. And because we know price matters, we’re upfront when it comes to diagnostic and care costs, offering several paths forward, along with pricing, and we won’t pressure you into doing more than you’re comfortable with (we won’t judge your choice, and we’ll save you time by helping you file pet insurance claims). One visit, and you’ll see Bond Vet is a new kind of veterinary clinic that’s better for pets and people alike; we’re excited to meet and treat you. I walked into this establishment because both the sign on the door said “OPEN” and their website states they are open daily until 8:00 PM. However, when I entered at approximately 7:25 PM on Saturday, June 27, the employee at the front desk told me they were already closed.
I was confused and pointed out that their posted hours indicate they close at 8:00 PM. She responded by saying, “We’re a 10–8 business except today at 7,” which was unclear and did not explain why their hours had changed. As soon as I walked out, she immediately flipped the door sign from “OPEN” to “CLOSED.”
If the business closes early on certain days, that information should be clearly communicated online and reflected on the storefront to avoid misleading customers.

Bond vet was extremely caring and thoughtful as they helped me navigate end of life for my elderly cat. I am really grateful to their support and the love they showed my kitty, despite him being a little bit spicy. Thank you guys!

This is a really nice pet Doctor office. I brought my dog in for an eye exam. It's clean, the vets and their assistants were great with my dog. The doctor explained the tests she recommended, gave me options for treatment and explained everything. My dog enjoyed the snacks. I would take my him back for treatment.

Our vet tech, doctor, and nurse were absolutely lovely and really made us feel comfortable throughout every step of the process. They were so gentle with our cat and let us know everything they were doing with him every step of the way. They answered all of our questions and were patient when we needed things reiterated. Also let us have the room to discuss our final bill which was really considerate. Will definitely be returning for future vet needs!

I brought my dog to Bond Vet in Bed-Stuy because she was experiencing diarrhea with blood, which was extremely concerning. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations.
The appointment felt very rushed, and the veterinarian spent only a very short amount of time examining my dog and discussing her condition. The treatment plan provided was limited to probiotics, which did not improve her symptoms and, in fact, her condition continued to worsen afterward. We ultimately had to seek care at another veterinary clinic, which added additional stress and significantly increased our overall medical expenses.
During the visit, I was also advised that if her condition worsened, I should take her to an emergency room. While I understand ER referral is appropriate in severe cases, it was frustrating to feel like there was very limited ability or willingness to manage even the initial treatment plan in-house, especially for a condition that started as a standard veterinary visit but escalated quickly. It raises the concern of what level of care can realistically be expected at a primary vet if most worsening symptoms immediately default to ER care, which significantly increases both cost and time.
Overall, I was disappointed with the level of care and attention provided. I expected a more thorough evaluation and clearer treatment plan for a case involving blood in the stool, rather than a brief consultation and minimal intervention.
