  I want to preface this by saying that my pup and I have been clients of Bond Vet for many years, dating back to when the Cobble Hill location first opened. Over the years, we’ve interacted with many different staff members and have never had an issue with anyone. We’ve visited the Fulton location a few times for routine care, and until recently, our experiences had always been positive. The staff had consistently been professional, and my pup had always been treated with kindness and care. However, our visit in September 2026 was incredibly disappointing and off-putting. The receptionist we interacted with was simply rude. I’ve had a few unpleasant exchanges with her in the past, but I chose to overlook them because I valued the medical staff and the care they provided to my pup. Unfortunately, this most recent interaction was the last straw. I asked a simple question and was met with a response that was unnecessarily condescending and dismissive. I was left feeling confused, upset, and genuinely taken aback by the way I was spoken to. To make matters worse, while I was still gathering my baby and my pup and getting everything together, she had already charged me for the services before I had even made it to the checkout area. The entire interaction felt rushed and inconsiderate. I understand that working in a veterinary clinic can be demanding, but basic courtesy, patience, and empathy should still be expected. We bring our pets to the vet when they are sick, vulnerable, and in need of care. The last thing a pet owner should have to deal with is feeling dismissed or made to feel like an inconvenience for asking a simple question. It’s disappointing because we’ve trusted Bond Vet for years, and I’ve always appreciated the medical care my pup has received. However, I will not be returning to the Fulton location. Veterinary care is already expensive, and when you’re spending hundreds of dollars to care for your pet, the least you should expect is to be treated with respect and compassion. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because the front desk experience matters just as much as the medical care. No client should leave feeling this way, especially when they’ve been loyal to the practice for years.

  Moved to a new neighborhood and decided to try Bond vet. The practice was clean, smelled nice, well lit, there were treats everywhere! My cat saw Dr. Stella for a wellness check up and vaccines. The practice had immediate availability and I was able to book online and get in the next day AFTER work. The entire staff treated my cat with love, cuddles, and he relaxed in the exam room. Dr. Stellaaddressed all of my medical questions and his exam felt more like play time than an austere medical experience. If you’re in Bed Stuy/Crown Heights I highly recommend!

  I have been to several different locations of Bond Vet and seen different vets, even had surgery for my pug in the past. My pug passed away at 13, six months ago and I adopted a rescue pug four days ago. I saw Miriam Saleh to establish a vet for my new pup and get necessary vaccines. In spite of telling her that I had a pug for 13 years, she spoke to me in a very rude and condescending tone. Telling me you need to clean wrinkles, explaining to me what a faux grass patch is, insinuating that I am using a ear flush from 2023, which I wasn't it was just on their record from back then. Any literate person would know to not use expired medications. I have been to oncologists, specialists, vets, and I am an experienced dog mom. I am not sure what triggered her, but the way she spoke to me was almost hostile. There was no kindness or compassion that I am usually used to seeing from vets. I do not recommend her if you are looking for someone who can give good advise in a friendly manner without looking down on you.

  The front desk and vet technician were great. The DVM Stella, walked in the room without introducing herself. I asked if she was the Dr. Then she half heartedly introduced herself. While examining my puppy, she appeared frustrated when she couldn't get a good look into his right ear and concluded he could have an infection. Soon after they ran a culture, another tech shared the medications to give him without telling me a reason or the lab result. I asked her, "Why am I giving these to him?" Then, she said he has an infection in his left and to only tx the said ear. I shared that the doctor said his right ear maybe infected as well. The tech said only the left. Thankfully, I reconfirmed with the front desk tech and she reviewed the notes/findings and said the right ear. To be sure, she went to the back to confirm. Later, she said to tx both ears. I'm so grateful she reconfirmed and hope no repercussions/retaliation occurred against her. Bond Vet is too expensive for terrible Veterinary service. I prefer to pay a high price for a private non-franchised vet.

  I took my dog to Bond Vet at several locations for about four years. I initially appreciated how easy it was to schedule appointments, the clean offices, and the fact that the vets and vet techs generally seemed caring. Unfortunately, my experience with the company as a whole eventually pushed me to switch vets. The biggest issue is that the business model seems to prioritize revenue over continuity of care and helping pet owners make informed decisions. The online portal makes it unnecessarily difficult to understand when vaccines are due, which makes it hard to plan ahead and combine routine care into fewer visits. When I asked staff for help figuring this out, I did not feel they were interested in making the process easier. Communication was also consistently frustrating. I was charged nearly $900 for an ultrasound and then had to call and email multiple times just to get the results. The report was never emailed to me or made available in the portal. Front desk interactions frequently felt dismissive or annoyed, even when I was simply asking reasonable questions about my dog's health after spending thousands of dollars on her care. I understand that veterinary medicine is expensive, and I am willing to pay for good care. What ultimately drove me away was feeling as though every interaction was focused on extracting more money rather than building trust, communicating clearly, and helping me understand what was medically necessary. I no longer felt I could trust Bond Vet to help me make informed decisions for my dog without wondering whether financial incentives were influencing the recommendations. After four years as a client, that loss of trust was enough for me to leave.
