Whenever I bring my dog Fine to get groomed, Yaya and the rest of the staff always do a tremendous job. I wouldn’t even think of going anywhere else to get Finn groomed. It’s always a pleasant experience for Finn and he loves the staff there and I believe the staff loves him just as much. I highly recommend this groomer at Petco.

Dear Management Ms. Laura,
I am writing to formally report a very concerning experience at the Petco Hutchinson grooming location with groomer Angelica, and to request a review of the charges from this visit.
Our appointment was scheduled for 2:30pm and although we arrived early, we were told to wait outside in an unprofessional and unfriendly manner. From the start, Angelica's tone and demeanor toward both myself and another customer were abrupt, dismissive, and not appropriate for a customer-facing role. Upon seeing our dog, she immediately raised concerns about age and matting, stated the price would be doubled and mentioned the dog should not have been booked-despite our dog having been groomed at this location previously without issue. She also performed a partial shave as a “test” to see if my dog would stay still, which was very concerning as I never heard of this before nor the previous groomer had done this before when groomed.
We ultimately left our dog out of necessity, but did not receive any updates for several hours. When I returned after more than 3.5 hours, I observed her grooming another dog before completing ours, despite our earlier appointment time. The entire process took nearly five hours. At checkout, we were charged nearly $200.00 including additional services such as medicated shampoo that were not clearly discussed or approved in advance. This lack of transparency, combined with the excessive wait time and poor communication, is unacceptable.
Given the level of service we received, I am requesting a partial refund or adjustment of the charges. Additionally I strongly recommend reviewing this employee’s customer service approach, communication, and scheduling practices to ensure others customers do not have a similar experience.
I would appreciate a prompt response regarding this matter.

La chica que le dio los servicios a Maxi me dijo cuando lo recogí que la manager me mando a decir que no lo volviera a llevar más alla porque Maxi se mueve mucho. Como es posible que me dijeran eso de maxi, él tiene 9 anos y en verdad casi ni se mueve ya, como cuando tenía uno o dos o incluso cinco años. Eso si me hizo daño. Miren la pelada de maxi, fue una pelada sencilla, un corte bajito y ya, no quisiera yo imaginar el trato que le dieron.
Ray who is Cassidy’s Groomer since she was 3 months old is the greatest. Cassidy adores her and he is a fantastic addition to the grooming crew. Without Ray of Sunshine Cassidy would not look her best.

DO NOT BOOK GROOMING WITH YAYA!!! Avoid her at all cost. She does not listen to instructions! Shaved my dog but didn’t even listen when I said I wanted her fur to stay long! There are pieces of fur long and pieces short. Nothing is even. Didn’t file my dogs nails at all. Charged me for things I didn’t ask for. Didn’t touch my dogs tail at all and she looks insane with a huge fuzzy tail that’s extremely uneven but completely shaved to the skin. Horrible location, avoid them for grooming, this is the second time I’ve had a bad experience and I will never go back!
