  This store deserves zero stars! I am extremely disappointed with the way my experience with Petco and the dog training department has been handled. I originally scheduled training sessions with Christina, the trainer. I had to cancel one of the sessions due to work. I contacted the store, and Christina also sent me an email. I responded to her and explained that I had to work and that she could charge me for the session. What was extremely concerning was the condescending and unprofessional tone of her response. She told me she could not accommodate another session, and the alternative dates and times she provided did not work with my schedule. We eventually scheduled another session for the following Saturday, but once again, due to my work schedule, I was unable to attend,I emailed her in advance and asked her to provide me with dates and times when she is actually available so that we can reschedule. At this point, I have not received a response. It is unacceptable for a customer who has already paid for a service to be treated this way, It cannot be that there is only one available training day per week at one specific time, particularly when the trainer’s availability does not accommodate the customer’s schedule. I am trying to work with the trainer and reschedule the services I have already paid for, I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I called the store and was told that Christina is the only trainer available or if I could use the services at another Petco with another trainer, I also spoke with Andre, who identified himself as the assistant manager. Unfortunately, he did not seem interested in resolving the situation or providing any meaningful assistance. He gave me an email address for Thomas, whom he identified as the manager, but could not tell me when Thomas would be available and simply told me to call back. This is not an acceptable way to handle a customer-service issue. I paid Petco for training services, and I expect to receive the services I paid for, I should not have to repeatedly chase down the store, trainer, or management simply to schedule the sessions I have already purchased. I am requesting that a manager or appropriate corporate representative contact me promptly to resolve this matter, If the training sessions I paid for cannot be reasonably scheduled, then I expect an appropriate resolution, including a refund for any services that Petco is unable or unwilling to provide. The way this situation has been handled has been extremely unprofessional and has left me very disappointed in Petco as a company. Customers should not be made to feel as though their money has been taken while the company has no intention of providing the service that was purchased\.

  The staff was pleasant and welcoming. They need to get it together with returning phone calls.
