Dr. Walling was compassionate and caring when we lost our Lab, Blue. She made one of the most difficult things in life a little more bearable.

Dr Wallen came to our house to put our sweet girl down. As hard as it was she made the situation more bearable by doing it in the comfort of our home. She has such a calm and soothing presence. Walked us through every step. It was a very peaceful experience. The love and care she has for animals is like no other. Jessica was another calm presence when we came and picked up the cremains she was very comforting to my husband and I. She walked us through how to open the urn if we wanted to sprinkle the cremains or use them for a memorial piece. For such a sad situation it was a great comfort to have such amazing humans guide us. I highly recommend them if you one day are in the situation we are in. They offer a bunch of other wonderful services as well.

I couldn’t possibly leave a good enough review of Dr. Walling and Jessica at Comforting Care. Right when I thought they exceeded my expectations they threw in something more. Just unbelievable. It is awful to go through the loss of a beloved pet that has been with you half your life. My little guys final moments were as peaceful as they could’ve been thanks to Dr. Walling. She even helped me get some paw prints with an ink kit I hadn’t used before at home before taking him away which meant so much to me. They gave us so many special little keepsakes that weren’t “advertised” but were such a pleasant and welcome surprise that warmed our hearts. I can honestly say that the memories of these final moments and the first days of our grief have been so sweetly touched by the care of Lisa and Jessica. Outstanding love and support, an incredible attention to detail and the exact vibe we needed on what was otherwise the worst day imaginable. Worth every penny and a team I will sincerely never forget and endlessly recommend in NY and CT area.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this experience. It started with Dr. Walling’s assistant, Jessica, who was so caring and thorough during our first phone call. Dr. W did a quality of life assessment for our 16-year-old cat, Willow, and helped us tailor a plan to her needs. She got two more good months due in large part to Dr. W’s recommendations.
When the time came that Wills’ suffering was too much for her, we made an end-of-life appointment for a few days in the future. The following day, Wills took a sharp turn for the worse. Since we weren’t scheduled for that day, I expected that we would have to take Willow to the ER which was truly my worst nightmare as she hated going to the vet and would have been terrified in a new place.
I was so very relieved when Dr. W got back to us and said we wouldn’t have to do that. She would come to us despite the fact that we weren’t scheduled and I’m sure it added to an already packed day for her.
The actual experience of setting our baby free from her pain just could not have possibly been any better. It was one of the toughest experiences I’ve ever had, and Dr. Walling’s professionalism and compassion made all the difference. This service was worth every penny and I will recommend it to everyone I know.
