  I came to this veterinary hospital because a friend highly recommended it. They told me the doctors were very skilled and that the staff took great care of pets. Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. For my first visit, I scheduled my appointment two weeks in advance. When I arrived, I was taken to an exam room and then left waiting for about an hour. It wasn’t until I told the staff that I had another appointment to get to—already 1 hour and 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment—that the veterinarian finally came in to vaccinate my dog. Three months later, when it was time for the next visit, I was told that if I came early in the morning, they would be able to see me right away. However, even after following their advice, I still had to wait another 30 minutes before anyone saw us. My advice is this: if you have an entire day to spend waiting at a veterinary hospital, then this clinic may work for you. But if your time is valuable and you expect appointments to be reasonably on schedule, this is probably not the right place for you. I understand that emergencies can happen in a veterinary hospital, but consistently keeping clients waiting for long periods despite scheduled appointments is frustrating and shows a lack of respect for their time.

  I took in a super spicy community cat to be spayed. Everyone at West Charleston Animal Hospital took great care of her. The care was top notch.

  Dr. Jones was wonderful with my dog. He was kind, thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I never felt rushed, and I truly appreciated the care and attention he gave my dog. His assistant was incredibly sweet, and the entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. We left feeling reassured and well cared for. I highly recommend Dr. Jones and his team to anyone looking for compassionate, quality veterinary care.

  The doc (Dr. Amani lee) we had was fantastic! She was very pleasant and informative, she understood my situation, gave me options and explained everything very clearly! Last and most importantly… she’s an extremely skilled professional! She did a beautiful job on the repair surgery for a ruptured abscess on my kitty. He literally had a giant hole in his chest and you would never even be able to tell today! Doc was professional yet understanding, didn’t try to force unnecessary treatment to raise the bill like some vets do. I wouldn’t go any where else for any kind of major surgery. They were reasonably price for the surgery needed! & like I already mentioned, they did an amazing job, no complications while healing!!
