  So my mom and me want to buy new fish for are 10 gallon fish tank and the manger who was doing the fish area was such great to us. Once I get my 29 gallon tank going I will be going back to get those fish. I can’t say enough good things about this store.

  This is my go to petco. Normally, its fine. But this time, I came in for Crickets. I stopped there before two other errands, and knew I needed the bag to last for a couple hours. I used to work at petco and have kept reptiles for 15 years. I know how to tie the bag so it doesnt lose as much air over time. So I saw the cashier tying the bag in the way they are trained, lots of air but it always leaks out twice as fast. So I politely asked if she minded if I tie my own bag. Maybe it was my mistake for being too friendly and explaining myself because she seemed confused as she handed it to me. She then proceeds to tell me that they put a lot of air as I tie my bag. I smile politely as i tie my bag. She then tells me they are specially trained to tie the bags in this rude voice with a clear attitude. I smiled and said yeah, I know. I used to work at petco. For 10 years. Idk why this Karen was so offended I wanted to tie my own bag but 🤷🏻‍♀️ Older lady with reddish hair, drop the ego. Its a freaking cricket bag.

  Great experience - thank you for finally ditching the stupid .10 charge per bag! I’m back - great store for our little beasts. Excellent customer service - manager very accommodating.
