  If I could put ZERO stars I would. This Petco Green Valley location. Absolutely worse experience. After asking so many questions and we’ve already said we bought a fish tank and set it up. This isn’t my first time buying a fish. I have a tank set up with YEARS of experience with fish. All of a sudden I try to get different fish and it’s a problem. Instead of trying to help, they dismiss us and say we we need to be nicer. Absolutely ridiculous. What makes the situation even more ridiculous is that there were literally DEAD FISH in the tanks right there, yet somehow we were being treated as though we were the problem for wanting to purchase their 49-cent fish. If you have concerns about whether a customer is prepared to care for an animal, then explain your concerns respectfully and provide useful information. Don’t be rude, dismissive, and condescending. Management seriously needs to look into how customers are being spoken to at this location and whether employees are actually being trained on how to handle situations professionally. Absolutely ridiculous experience. I will not be returning to this Petco location.
