I’ve been coming here for years, and one of the biggest reasons I kept coming back was the amazing clinical team and doctors. Seeing familiar faces always made both me and my pet feel comfortable. Unfortunately almost every visit, I’m greeted by someone I’ve never seen before. New faces within the last few months. It just doesn’t feel as consistent or welcoming as it used to. One thing that really stood out to me was witnessing what appeared to be a manager older female getting upset with another employee right in front of me and another client who was waiting. It made the whole waiting area feel uncomfortable. On top of that, the wellness plan prices seem to keep going up every year. I think $8-10 more now!! I understand that costs increase over time, but it’s becoming harder to justify the expense, especially when the overall experience doesn’t feel like it used to.

I’ve been paying for insurance for years, and they always provided medication and everything necessary. Today my dog is in bad shape; they say they ran tests and told me to take him to the emergency vet—yet according to them, nothing was wrong. My dog arrived urinating blood—what tests did they actually run? Why didn't they give him any medicine? Why are you telling me to take him somewhere else?

CREEPS! STAY AWAY! I took my cat in to see Dr. Newby for a possible UTI and they tested her for everything but what I came in for. They offered expensive treatments with no real diagnosis. They used a bait and switch tactic to force me into one of their Wellness plans. Also, if you get a Wellness Plan for your animal and the pet passes away, you are still responsible for the monthly payments until the year is finished. Corporate refuses to speak to you and the site manager Heather is cruel and nasty. Even after everything I went through, I was constantly threatened with being sent to collections. They don't care about the animals, all they care about is how much money they can snatch from you. They are still attempting to steal money from my account even though they agreed to cancel the Wellness Plan. I would never recommend Banfield to any pet owner! Banfield is useless, sneaky and grubbing.
