I went in for my dog's rabbies shot and was told they had to do a mandatory wellness exam because they'd never seen my dog, I agreed even though she had a wellness exam this year already. I went in and had to weigh her myself, they weren't able to get her temperature. The vet came in for maybe 2 minutes and NEVER even touched my dog. Didn't listen to her lungs, when her breathing was one of my concerns. They charged me for the exam that never happened. Overall not a great experience, they didn't try to make my dog comfortable. Shes a rescue and has a lot of fears. The room we got put in was the size of a closet which made it more stressful for my dog who is not a little. Update: I have called 4 times in a two week span to get my dogs records sent to me and they have said they will but still no records. DO NOT GO HERE!

Dr. Hinko and staff have been amazingly helpful and supportive throughout my best friend/dogs life!! They extended his lifespan and quality of life which I am forever grateful. Unfortunately last week my dog had to be put to rest. Knowing how much my heart was breaking the entire staff gave me strength and love. A few days later I was surprised to receive a condolence card with hand written notes from Dr. Hinko and his staff accompanied with an ink paw print. Words cannot express how grateful I am. I highly recommend The Animal Clinic in Santa Fe!!
