  I have been looking for a new vet because my last one retired, and I have not been pleased with anyone that I might have considered. I am deeply dedicated to my breed (Cavaliers) and have top winning show dogs and belong to 5 different kennel clubs so you understand I know a lot more than most pet people. I what's introduced to Fr Chui and explain to her all of the protocols that I choose to follow with my own dogs and she was perfectly fine with that. She examined my dog and suggested an X-ray, but said it's not vitally important but would be helpful, and I like the fact that she wasn't pushy. She was interested in listening to my protocol, and why I do the things that I do and never contradicted anything.but respected, the fact that my decision was based on years of research. everything about her attitude led me to trust that she really knew what she was talking about and pleased that she played down the seriousness of my dogs condition and told me that it could well be that her panting was due to her body working hard-to produce milk for her puppies and instead of telling me that her lungs had fluid around them, she explained that there was an excessive amount of air in her stomach because she was breathing in so heavily and suggested that she would be more comfortable if I cut back a bit on the amount of food I was feeding her Never once did she recommend more tests nor even any medication, but since I had already started some on my own, she said I should not stop so she wrote a prescription for me to purchase elsewhere for less money to help her taper off. i can't imagine anyone going to Dr Chiu and not leaving feeling better knowing that their dog was in really good hands with this caring vet..

  Great office! Very friendly staff, a knowledgeable Veterinarian, and a quick visit. Gave me recommendations on how to solve my cat’s issue and I didn’t feel like they were just trying to take money from me, which is a person concern I have.

  Wonderful team, everything went right on time. Very gentle with the dogs.

  Took my puppy to get his first set of shot, the staff was amazing. Answered all my questions and gave me some tips. I highly recommend, the price was half of what every vet in the area charges.

  We have been going to NJAH since 1998. We continue to go because we still see Dr. Gabby and Dr. Mark, who know our current dog intimately as they did we our previous one. We will not see any other vet at the practice unless it's an emergency. They are the best at explaining everything, answering every question, and clearly showing they care very much about our dog. Unfortunately, though Dr. Gabby and Dr. Mark still work there, I believe NJAH was sold a couple of years ago. Almost instantly the prices sky-rocketed. Because of them we won't go anywhere else and haven't compared the new pricing to other veteranians.
