  I love visiting this Petco location! The store is always incredibly clean, organized, and welcoming, which makes shopping here such a pleasant experience. They have a fantastic assortment of high-quality products, and I can always find exactly what I need for my pets. What truly stands out, though, is the kind and helpful staff. Everyone I interact with is genuinely warm and goes out of their way to ensure a great visit. Highly recommend this store to any pet owner!

  Absolutely the best groomer, Ms. Angela, she took care of our little Goku and made him look like he was ready for a magazine. Definitely the best kudos. Recommended highly....

  The shortage of staff continues to get worse. On a Saturday at 1:30 pm I could not find someone in aquatics. This is not a new situation. I scouted aisles to see if I could find a Petco team member. Nope. I went to check out and told cashier I needed assistance in aquatics. He nodded. At least 4 minutes passed and there was no page for assistance in aquatics. The cashier then made a page. No one responded. Then the cashier came to assist.

  The young man behind the register saw me approaching and walked away. I was confused as to why he would leave without saying something like, “I’ll be right with you.” He came back and started ringing me up but did not acknowledge me. He was sullen. I said, “you look thrilled to be here.” He didn’t reply to that. The only words he said to me during the whole transaction were, “Do you need a receipt?” I’ve managed many retail stores and this kid should not be dealing with the public. Zero awareness of customer service. No greeting. No eye contact. Terrible.

  I truly cannot say enough good things about the grooming team at the Petco in Verona. I have two special-needs dogs, so choosing someone to care for them isn’t something I take lightly. This is the ONLY place I will bring them because they are the only groomers I completely trust. The team is always incredibly patient, gentle, attentive, and understanding of their individual needs. They don’t just treat them like another grooming appointment—they take the time to make sure my dogs are comfortable, safe, and cared for throughout the entire process. That kind of compassion gives me a level of peace of mind that is absolutely priceless. When you have dogs who require a little extra patience and care, finding people you trust with them means everything. I never have to worry when I leave my babies here, and they always come home looking amazing and well cared for. I would recommend the Petco Verona grooming team without hesitation, especially to anyone who has a nervous, senior, special-needs, or higher-maintenance pup. There is nowhere else I would trust with mine. ❤️🐾
