  I just got home from vacation. My cats were out of food and I came in and bought some items on sale wet cat food and a big bag of cat food just in time before closing and the gentleman at checkout was very helpful and giving me the appropriate sale prices on the clearance cat food, and I was happy and my cats are happy.

  So despite my dog being the cutest, he has a double coat and during his sheddy seasons it can be a little unbearable. When he gets groomed (and weve done this so many places) the options are leave the double coat and trim it down (so much hair) or make him look like someone used a lawn mower and not very well - i always assumed this is not anyones fault its just his coat & we have to wait about a week for it to settle. Then we came to our local petco and found Amelia. I dont know how she does it but his lines are perfect - she is also incredibly helpful and understanding. Beyond thankful! Absolutely love the team over here, they make us feel like they really like our dogs and our dogs love coming in - thank you so much!!

  Jill and her team at Petco in Verona were phenomenal. I had a million question which Jill either answered or immediately researched. Jill helped me with pricing comparisons as well. Jill also went above and beyond the call of duty in helping me set-up my terrarium right in the store. Additionally, when I called in the following day with some more questions about my set-up and certain add-ons, Jill first tried them out in the store with my exact model to make sure it would fit , before I made the trip to Verona. When I returned to the store, not only were all of my items waiting for me in an organized way, but Jill also came out from the back to give me some more pointers and knowledge. Bravo Jill and to your team, you have just acquired a new and permanently loyal customer !! Thanks again for your professionalism and great customer focused attitude, it's much appreciated !

  As happens way too often with this Verona store, stock is hardly ever adequate on "popular" brand cat food (e.g., Friskies wet or dry) and litter (World's Best)--they seems to favor high-end, boutique suppliers. I now check the web page (as if ordering for delivery, which is no bargain here) to ee if it is worth my time to drive over there. The web pages are NEVER accurate--they'll say "in stock" and when you get there, you'll be lucky to find what you came for. I managed to snag the only 2 small bags of Friskies dry food that were there (no choice left on flavor), hidden on a floor-level shelf, and mentioned this to the person at the register, who dutifully said she would "let the manager know." There was no staff person on the floor to help (it took me over 15 minutes to find these 2 hidden bags of food). This is why I usually drive a few miles further up the road to PetSmart, which DOES keep up with stock levels and employs more than 1 or 2 people to assist customers--or order from Amazon! Note: Petco ASKED for this review. If you don't really want a complaint, don't ask customers to waste MORE of their time writing one. P.S. I used to rely completely on this store for my cats' supplies--this report reflects the last few years' frustrations. Things have changed in the last 2-3 years.

  Self wash was a very disappointing experience. I honestly wanted a refund but kept it professional. Drove my dog home wet and cold as their dryers do not work- I wish this was disclosed before paying
