  I had gone in to purchase some fish food and was unsure about which would best benefit the fish in my aquarium. The gentleman Petco associate tending the fish department was very informative, educational, as well as very empathetic to my budget maximum that I advised him of. In addition, up at the register were also 2 very welcoming and attentive Petco associates. In closing, my experience at your Totowa location was very, very smooth, effortless, as well as pleasant, and above all, memorable. I'd like to thank those petco associates for really making my visit a great experience! Bravo! Thank you, Anthony 🫧🐠

  The staff were the rudest people I’ve ever encountered, I went there to buy a betta fish for my daughter , we had a filtered tank running for two weeks prior to this due to us having knowledge of taking care of fish prior , I explained this to the staff and he walked away, he than went to who I assume is the manager and he starts getting loud and rude with me saying what am I doing buying a plastic tank “which was purchased to keep the fish in on the ride home so my daughter wouldn’t mess with him” he than continues to say well he said you told him you planned to keep the fish in that for the rest of his life which was never said, I told him that was false and We can have that guy come back to clear up confusion , he then huffs rolls his eyes at me and walks away.. all this over a betta fish. Anyways here’s my betta fish THRIVING after they told me he would die before having him a whole 24hrs because I wasn’t going to treat him right.. this seems like a happy fish to me!

  The rep that attended me I didn’t catch his name just remember he had a big curly fro and was Spanish. He was busy but he helped everyone, answered all questions and followed up to see if we needed additional service. He showed extraordinary customer service. I hope he’s there next time I go. He was amazing I hope he’s gets a raise or something lol
