  I had a very pleasant experience at this PETCO location in Parsippany. Employee Brian is very knowledgeable about food and other products for both cats and chickens. Brian's attentiveness and preparedness made what can sometimes be a stressful process very easy and productive.

  Anastasia was really nice and helpful today. I was just getting litter refills and the jugs have lost their labels after reuse. When I mentioned to her that I'd had some trouble in the past with employees not knowing how to scan them in, she quickly whipped out a Sharpie and marked them all with the refill SKU number. A simple solution I can't believe I didn't think of before, and I really appreciate it!

  Big clean store but I waited patiently by the fish & waited & waited, employees wheeling carts of inventory by but NO ONE even stopped to ask if I needed assistance. I waited over 20 minutes (some of that was deciding on the number of fish based on my tank size/plus my existing fish...I have a 50 gallon tank) I finally walked from the fish section (which is the back of the store) to the register (at the front of the store) but there was only the cashier. Mind you, this was 7pm on a Thursday, the store was not busy but the cashier had 2 people on line & I wasn't going to wait, on line, to try to get help in the fish section. I left without the 8 fish I wanted to buy. I'm sure Petco doesn't mind loosing my $50 or so purchase but my time is also worth something to me & they wasted too much.
