  First time here, was looking for a new local JC vet for my cat Baker. Easy to make an appointment online, they have a first visit promo, when I called & emailed to ask about sending over my pets medical records they were very quick to respond and kind. Baker is a very shy boy but the team there made him feel so welcome and calm. Prices are reasonable as well, they walk you through your itemized visit, no sneaky vet billing which sadly is hard to find. Will definitely be coming back with Baker and any of our other pets.   The visit itself was fine, and the doctors were nice. However, I found the pricing to be way too high compared with other veterinary clinics in the area. I felt that the estimate and charges were much higher than expected for the services provided. What concerned me most was that my cat started sneezing repeatedly after the visit and continued sneezing after we got home. I called the clinic because I was worried and wanted to know what was going on, but I didn’t feel like my concerns were taken seriously. I couldn’t reach the doctor who treated my cat, and no one was able to give me a clear explanation or helpful guidance about his reaction. The front desk was also not very helpful when I called. Overall, I’m disappointed, especially considering how much I paid. I understand that veterinary care can be expensive, but when a pet develops symptoms after a visit, I would expect better follow-up and communication from the clinic. I really hope they can improve their pricing transparency, customer service, and after-visit support in the future. 😔

  I initially called Bond Vet for a phone consultation after my recently adopted cat vocalized once while defecating. Despite me clarifying that he had urinated normally earlier that day, the phone representative created a false sense of urgency, insisting it could be a life-threatening urinary blockage and that I needed to bring him in immediately. Rushing him in was unnecessary and left him visibly stressed and traumatized for days. During the exam, the vet confirmed his bladder was completely fine with zero signs of a blockage, yet they still aggressively pushed for costly, unnecessary diagnostic testing. The upsells only worsened when his fecal test returned positive for parasites. When I went to pick up his medication, the staff tried to pressure me into purchasing an entire year's supply of Revolution for over $300; when I pushed back and declined, the receptionist audibly groaned and acted visibly inconvenienced. To make matters worse, they charged me $109 for eight pills of feline Drontal—an over-the-counter dewormer that costs around $5.75 per pill online—while incorrectly claiming it treats Giardia, which it does not. Between the fear-based tactics, high-pressure sales pitches, unprofessional front-desk attitude, and egregious medication markups, this clinic felt far more focused on maximizing profit than providing honest pet care. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

  Dr. Lauren Buchalter is by far the absolute best, most caring vet we’ve ever taken our golden retriever to. Our dog is ordinarily a little scared at the vet, but Dr. B’s energy gets Peanut relaxed right away—even when she doesn’t feel well.

  So frustrating. I booked an appointment for 12pm today and when I showed up they said no. I showed this to them and they were sorry for any technical errors. This is not the way. I’m dealing with an emergency and this is frustrating. Better customer service please. Update: the manager was able to get us in earlier after I tried to get in touch with the team to figure this out. I appreciate it and hope they improve customer experiences across the board in the future. We had a great vet!
