My dog has had Giardia multiple times and I have brought in his fecal sample multiple times to run the test. He gets it frequently from doggy day care. I brought him in a few weeks ago for a normal exam and ofc today his stool is giving the Giardia signs. I tried to bring in his stool to pay for the testing and they told me they can't send it in for testing without doing a physical exam even though I've done this multiple times in the past. Of course, their physical exams have all been booked today and tomorrow and he just had a physical exam at bond vet a few weeks ago. Their new policy now ensures you have to wait multiple days to get an appointment, just to then have to come back with a fecal sample, just to then have to wait several more days for the results to come back, at which point your dog will be suffering for a week unnecessarily. This place is a huge money grab - it's not an exaggeration to say we've paid literally thousands of dollars to this place and are bond vet "members" (which does not give us anything in return despite advertising special access) but they only seem to care about $ (they are private equity owned). Also, we took our dog to this location a few weeks after getting him as a puppy and they recommended all the vaccines at once - we did them and the lepto vaccine caused him to suffer an autoimmune reaction with leg payalsis - after mri spinal tap and a neurologist, plus $10,000 later, they concluded his disease was triggered by the vaccine and he should not get any going forward - not an antivaxer by any means but would have appreciated being advised to space the vaccines out as now he has a lifelong disease. Finally, we had to figure out his food allergies by ourselves--we brought him in frequently for stomach issues and instead of being told he likely has a chicken allergy (even though I asked if that could be a cause), like most poodles, we were recommended more expensive procedures like running an ultrasound, pancreatistis screening, etc. We put him on a novel protein diet instead and that was that. I'm not sure what we're paying for. Update for those with fellow tumultuous tummy dogs-- just spoke to Sage Vet in Jersey City and they said once you establish care with them , you don't need to book a physical exam going forward in order for them to run a fecal test for you.

I took my cat here today last minute and I’m so glad I did. Everyone made me and my kitty feel comfortable. Everyone’s nice and they were quick on time which I loved. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for people to take care of your animal as your own!

I got my kitten from a shelter and took her to Bond for her first appointment. Everyone was very calm and caring which made a great environment for animals. I don't know if this was a promotion but the first visit was free so I only had to pay for her testing and immunizations. The visit was fast and my kitten didn't seem to mind she was in a VET's OFFICE so that was amazing. They gave me so much good advice and guidance with her. Huge shoutout to Courtney, Mia, Henry and Dr. Jones!

I have been using Bond Vet before when I lived in manhattan with my late dog and was very happy with their professionalism and the rest of services, of course as well Recently, I got a new puppy and Went to the nearest Bond Vet to my new apartment, which was jersey city. Do not get me wrong nurses and doctors are great they are phenomenal. They’re very professional. But what put me off was the front desk stuff. I have read Other people’s reviews and yes, that woman at the reception that everyone is writing about. She was the reason I switched to a different clinic So rude so unprofessional She can easily curse your and hang up on you When you ask her why isn’t she not doing her job Again, as I repeated the doctors and nurses are great So if you need veterinary help as an emergency - I do Recommend it But dealing with this front desk incompetence on a regular basis…I would not sign up for that Go to Hoboken

My experience at Bond Vet Jersey City has been absolutely incredible. I recently moved here and was not prepared to need a vet so quickly. Bond Vet was able to get her in and really greet us with compassion and kindness. Dr. Buchalter is SO wonderful and she truly goes the extra mile to make sure my dog is doing ok, from returning my frantic phone calls, updating me with results and really being apart of my pups recovery journey. The entire staff is fantastic and so understanding. I could not be happier to have found them and I know when I take Buttons in, she’s in the best hands possible.
