Yesterday I brought my kitten here for her first round of shots. Dr Hakim told me I need to get an x ray done of her at my private vet because her left kidney feels extremely enlarged. I was super upset, cried my entire way home thinking there was something seriously wrong with my kitten. I took her to my normal vet and he told me it’s impossible to “feel” a kidney. The only way you would know if a kidney is enlarged is through a scan/ultrasound. The women on staff were incredibly kind, but I don’t recommend the doctor. He didn’t even have gloves on when taking blood from her and had her blood all over his fingers and got her own blood all over her leg.

Grateful to have found Vetco for affordable vaccines. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Easy to obtain actual prescription for medication. I wish Eatontown had an actual Vetrinarian hospital inside but the closest is Tom's River and my one pup gets really bad car sickness to travel that far. Other than that I highly recommend Vetco.

Went to our vet appointment. Arrived 5 mins late. When I did arrive the check in person was dealing with someone else so could not help me and there were small dogs that were getting a dog in the vet office upset. The vet came out so nasty to move the small dogs to another area - I am talking so nasty (red flag #1). Now this is 15 mins I am waiting to be checked in. Finally the young man came to check me in and told me the vet said no I have to schedule for later in the afternoon because I was 10 mins late. I know for a fact I was 5 mins late I walked in at 11:10 for my 11:05 appointment. I went and told her I was waiting 15 mins for the check in guy - she said I saw you walk in late so to bad. I would never re-schedule with someone so nasty to give my dog any care. The first time I went for my 10:00 am appointment got there 10 mins early and did not get seen until 10:30. I do not recommend this location or this vet. I will gladly pay the money to take my dog to his reg vet.
