I’d give 0 stars if I could. Worst Banfield I’ve ever been to. I scheduled an in room appointment for my cat, when I got there they were more concerned about me joining a wellness plan rather than tending to my injured cat. I was told I had to drop my cat off even though I chose in room. I was later called to be told they did absolutely nothing because my cat was “stressed”. I was then told my cat would have to take a certain medication to make him less stressed before his next appointment. I get there to collect my cat and their systems are down. They did absolutely nothing for my injured cat, they did not care, and they lacked compassion. They made me wait to get my cat because “their systems were down” EVEN THOUGH THEY PERFORMED 0 services. People who work with animals every day were not able to get a small cat out of a carrier couldn’t even look at his injury? They are all just going through the motions there. The vet was running late with a surgery that day so I believe when it was my cats turn to be seen she literally didn’t even try. My cat is very outgoing and friendly. He came back home and hid for the rest of the day. I will never know what type of treatment he received there because they didn’t allow me to stay. I will never go back to this location, and i hope they learn from this review.

My Cat, Augie, was not feeling well, I call for him to be seen. I was told they couldn't see him until Friday. I called on a Tuesday. I was instructed to call others Banfield. After taking him to another Banfield, I was asked to come for him because he needed an emergency hospital. The emergency hospital put my sweet Augie to sleep. I paid $600 ++ for XRays only, plus almost the same amount for the emergency hospital between couple of hours.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Banfield in East Brunswick. My 12-year-old Maltese underwent emergency surgery, and after paying nearly $2,700, I expected compassionate, professional care. Instead, she was discharged covered in waste and visibly dirty, with no effort made to clean her before she was sent home. Seeing my dog in that condition was heartbreaking. The customer service was equally disappointing. I encountered a level of unprofessionalism and poor communication that made an already stressful situation even worse. It felt like too many staff members lacked the maturity, experience, and basic customer service skills needed to handle clients facing serious medical emergencies with their pets. My dog deserved better, and so did I. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves both the quality of patient care and the professionalism of its staff. No pet owner should leave feeling this upset after entrusting their beloved companion to a veterinary hospital.

Came here for a physical exam which was $90 for my dog & Rabies vaccination. The whole physical exam took less than 2 minutes including the vaccine administration. The front staff was nice but the vet visit a total ripe off.
