  Thank you for taking care of my dog! Sometimes the wait is long but it’s not their fault! I witness so many people walk in with no appointment excepting get seen 🙄 or people come in late expecting to still be checked in while others come in time and have to wait cause of the entitled people. Carlstadt has always been reliable and has always taken good care of my dog.

  Five years of loyalty to Banfield, and this is how I'm treated. I've trusted Banfield with my dog's care since I first got her, nearly five years ago. I'm incredibly disappointed by my recent experience. I paid $521 for a rabies antibody test required for international travel. The hospital didn't confirm the basic owner and submission information with me before processing the sample. I realized a correction was needed and called just 30 minutes after getting home. It took three hours to reach someone, only to be put on hold for another two hours before the call was disconnected. Someone finally called me near closing time and promised to follow up, but that callback never happened. Since then, I've repeatedly tried to get basic information, including which laboratory is processing the sample, without receiving a clear answer. I'm not asking for special treatment. I'm asking for basic accuracy, transparency, and communication about a $521 service I paid for. After five years of trusting Banfield with my dog's health, I never expected to be treated with such disregard. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in them.

  They treat my furry baby like one of their own. Make sure he is up to date on all his vaccines and treatments. And more importantly they let me know if he doesn't need a service I requested. I definitely recommend bringing your pets here.

  Made an appt online and then called ahead and asked if we for sure could be seen since the appt was scheduled for an hour later and the receptionist place us on hold. She ended up saying yes we could be seen and it was be preferred for us to arrive 15 mins early and we agreed. Due to traffic we arrived 10 mins early -STILL EARLY- and the receptionist was helping someone so waited patiently and then we were told “sorry it’s too late for you to be seen” MIND YOU, this was at 5:30 for a 5:30 appointment. So we left and then they called and said we walked out on them and wanted to know if we wanted to check with the doctor if we could be seen today. On the phone for over 6 minutes and she still didn’t give us an answer. I eventually hung up and then she called back at 5:47 and said “would you like to be seen today at 5:45?” Excuse me, that is crazy you offer to see us at 5:47 when we showed up EARLY for a 5:30 appt after proactively calling to confirm and was turned away. DO BETTER. Treat people and their time better.

  First visit here with my two senior dogs and I couldn't be more pleased. The team was professional, courteous and truly caring — not just going through the motions. They were thorough and caught things I didn't even know to look for. As a pet mom who takes her animals' health seriously, that means everything. This is now our vet home. Thank you Banfield Carlstadt!
