Took my dog here at the EARLIEST appointment at 9am for a drop off WELLNESS appointment.. took over 5 HOURS (and no they did not call me to pick him up I went to get him), I did not even speak to the “vet” ONCE. Paid almost 300$ for an appointment with no information. Especially even after I had questions about concerns about my dog, the receptionist stated the “vet” would call me with information to discuss my questions and they are closed now and still no information. Can’t even access his medical summary record to even see what his appointment was. Oh and they OVERCHARGED ME TWICE FOR THE SAME SHOT. This has happened before with my cat with an appointment last weekend (again with no information) and didn’t speak with a vet either. Don’t recommend.

I brought my puppy in for his first visit and enrolled in Banfield’s wellness plan. During that visit, the doctor who saw my puppy and signed us up for the plan specifically told me that the first puppy visit was free with enrollment and that the only charge I would have that day was the first month’s wellness plan payment, which was approximately $60–$70.
Fast forward to now, and I am being told something completely different. Banfield failed to charge me correctly on the day of service, and now the manager, Amanda F., is attempting to charge me nearly $300 for services that I was originally told were covered under the enrollment and first visit.
What makes this even more concerning is that Amanda told me I would have to “negotiate” the amount with her individually. I have never experienced anything like this from a veterinary hospital. If Banfield made a billing mistake, that should be handled professionally and transparently—not by asking customers to negotiate charges after the fact.
I even suggested that Banfield simply charge me for the monthly wellness plan payment, enroll my dog back into the plan, and allow us to move forward. Amanda refused and continued insisting that I pay the additional money she claims is owed.
I am 100% escalating this matter to corporate. I enrolled in the wellness plan based on the information provided by Banfield staff and should not be penalized for errors made by Banfield. The entire situation has been frustrating, unprofessional, and extremely disappointing. I would strongly encourage pet owners to carefully review any charges and documentation they receive before enrolling in a wellness plan at this location.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Banfield Pet Hospital.
When I first brought my puppy in at 8 weeks old, they were very quick to sell me a wellness plan. However, once I enrolled, getting any actual service became nearly impossible.
My puppy is now 13 weeks old and is due for important vaccinations and follow-up care. For over a month, I have been trying to contact the hospital to schedule his appointments and find out what is going on. I think it is unbelievable that I have spent more than a month trying to get answers and basic care for my puppy with little to no response.
I even went to the hospital in person with my puppy. I was told that Amanda would be right out to speak with me. I sat there waiting for nearly 30 minutes, and Amanda never came out. My puppy became restless and impatient, and after waiting with no communication or updates, I finally left.
I called again afterward, only to be placed on hold for 20 minutes before being transferred directly to voicemail. At that point, I felt completely ignored as a customer and as a pet owner trying to ensure my puppy receives timely medical care.
To make matters worse, during this month-long struggle to get care through Banfield, I ended up having to take my puppy to an emergency veterinary hospital and pay $250 out of pocket because I needed help and Banfield was closed. As someone paying for a wellness plan, that was incredibly frustrating. When I needed support for my puppy, the hospital I trusted and was paying monthly for was unavailable.
The level of communication and customer service has been unacceptable. It seems much easier to sell a wellness plan than it is to provide the care and support that comes with it. As a new puppy owner, this experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.
At this point, I honestly do not even want to continue having a wellness plan with Banfield. I expected much better. No pet owner should have to spend over a month chasing down a veterinary hospital just to get a puppy’s routine vaccinations and wellness care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.
