  I'm sorry but I absolutely do not recommend this vet. I had a six month old pup come in with parvovirus symptoms. Me and my family had no clue at the time, but when I explained the symptoms to the doctor they simply dismissed it as a normal stomach bug and gave my puppy a shot. The pup was fine for a few hours after but the symptoms came back rapidly. We ended up taking him to an emergency vet where they took the virus test and ended up telling us how the Hopewell vet did a careless job, and how they should have realized what the symptoms pointed to. This vet ended up giving my dog an unknown shot and did not explain anything to us. I do not recommend.

  The fact that the office has staff that talk nasty to you with such disrespect and to have the dr stand there and allow her to treat us this way is DISGUSTING... I will NEVER return. Shameful.

  Dr. Rider and his staff are great. Dr. Rider is to the point with no bs. Appointments are on time, not a lot of sitting and waiting.
