- SESteven EspaillatMay 25, 20261.0Rude and unhelpful store manager. The store closes at 9 PM, and I arrived around 8 PM only to find the fish tank lights already turned off. When I asked for help purchasing a fish, the manager responded, “That area is closed… that’s why the lights are off.” The next day, I returned and was denied the sale of two fish that were only about the size of a silver dollar because I currently have a 36-gallon starter tank while my 150-gallon tank will be set up when they outgrow the starter tank. Despite explaining that the larger tank would be ready long before the fish outgrew the starter tank, she still refused the sale. This wasn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with her either — there always seems to be another excuse not to sell fish. I ended up going to PetSmart down the street, where I was immediately treated with kindness and actually received help. Customer service clearly doesn’t seem to be a priority for this manager.
