  Faithful Petco customer. I love this place for my dogs nails. Just went there, grooming hours at until 5. It’s 2:45 and they went home, the manager said. Maybe change the signs to accurate hours so customers aren’t just standing there at the grooming department waiting for someone to show up who won’t.

  This store was very clean, and organized,the sales reps were very helpful ,and the pets all seemed to be happy ,and healthy.Also good prices.

  I would give 0 stars if I could. I scheduled my dog's grooming appointment online for a simple feet, face, and sanitary trim. About 20 minutes before my appointment, while I was already on my way, I received a message saying that because it was his first visit, they would only have time to do his face and sanitary area. Confused, I called to clarify. That's when the explanation changed. Instead of it being because he was a first-time client, I was told they simply didn't have enough time because they were very busy and still had two other dogs to groom before they left. I completely understand that schedules can get backed up and that things happen. However, when I asked what they could actually do, I was told they could basically only shave a small spot on his face and trim his nails—which wasn't even the service I wanted. I had specifically booked the appointment because I wanted his face cleaned up and a bath. My frustration isn't that they were busy—it's the last-minute communication and the inconsistent explanations. If the appointment couldn't be completed as booked, I wish someone had called me much earlier so I could have made other arrangements or simply groomed him myself instead of driving there for nothing. Hopefully Petco can improve the accuracy of its online booking system and communicate scheduling issues well before customers are already on their way.
