They are all incredibly compassionate and kind. They truly care about the animals and the people they serve. My cat was breathing strangely. I instinctively knew there was something wrong with her. I knew they took emergencies when I called them. They said to bring her right in and go to the front of the line. Along the way she took her last breath when I got there I was crying and distraught. They immediately came to my aid. They took my kitty and checked her out. They came back and asked me if I wanted to try She still had a heartbeat. I said yes, unfortunately she did not make it. They brought her to me all wrapped up in a beautiful blanket In the exam room. They gave me time to say my goodbyes.. The doctor came in and explained she had passed from congestive heart failure. That it was extreme and she would’ve more than likely passed in the middle of the night. She showed so much compassion and kindness. I am very thankful that I took her there and that she was so cared for.

I’m so disappointed. I really thought I’d found my “go to” exotics vet. Dr McCarthy is very knowledgeable about reptiles. However, the extreme lack of communication has me not willing to go back. My tortoise was seen for lack of appetite, weight loss and lethargy. They obtained bloodwork on him and I was told I’d receive a call the following day to determine if he needed antibiotics. 2 days went by with no communication. I called and was told I was on his list to call. Still nothing. I called again a day later and was told my bloodwork was put on his desk for him to call me. I requested a copy of the bloodwork for my records. Next day, still nothing call or email. Called again and they assured me I was on his list to call. Requested the bloodwork be emailed again. I finally received the email. 8 days after my initial visit, I called yet again after my voicemail the previous day was not returned. I was told he’d call within the hour. 3 hours later, still nothing call I call again and request to speak to a manager, he finally gets on the phone. Tells me there was a problem with the lab and he didn’t get the bloodwork till 2 days ago (yet he still hadn’t called me). But based on the date on the bloodwork, that was a blatant lie. It said the bloodwork was reported on 4/9. This call took place on 4/15. I’ll finally be getting his antibiotics tomorrow and not going back.

Took my pup sadie to have a tick bite looked at. From the front desk to the tech and doc. I can't say enough good things about them. Unbelievable service and care we're taken while looking at sadie.
