- TDTodd DayJun 19, 20261.0I don’t recommend the dog grooming services from Petco on Maple in Omaha. The grooming staff at this location has been consistently rude and dismissive to me and other customers. Strike 1: We showed up 5 minutes before our grooming appointment. After waiting 15 minutes with no one appearing in the salon, I finally asked the cashier to page someone to grooming. When I returned to the salon, a groomer entered in the rear of the room and very brusquely barked: “We’re busy, so you’re just gonna hafta wait a minute!”, then turned and walked away. Took my dog to the Petco on Dodge, instead. Strikes 2 @ 3: A couple months after strike 1, I had to book a last minute bath for my dog. Dodge, was full, so I decided to try Maple one last time. I requested no fragrance for my dog. They returned him reeking of perfume, and he had not been bathed. I could tell this because his fur was still in its pre-washed clusters, not the post-washed cotton-like fluffiness that it always is after a wash and blow dry. Even my husband noticed it. When I asked why he hadn’t been bathed, the same groomer from strike 1 sounded said he had, and sounded positively angry that I would question her. Not only did they ignore my request, but they bold-face lied to me about the service. Done with Petco on Maple. The Dodge location is now our go-to spot. The service there is always meticulous, expertly executed, and consistent.
