Big shout out to Jordan! For being SO kind and helpful - from getting us in off the waitlist sooner than expected, being totally transparent about costs, and loving on our dog while we were there. Dr. Mohr fixed our guy up. Vet costs are expensive in general- but it seemed very reasonable. We felt thoroughly taken care of. Thank you!!

I will never go back to this Vetco and I recommend staying away if you’re thinking about going. I took my 2.5yr old Boston Terrier in to get checked/tested for a UTI. I told the vet the symptoms he had been experiencing the past 4 days. They didn’t take a urine sample to even rule out a UTI. After the vet (Dr. Pedersen) examined him she started talking about all the chances of health failures he could have. She stated there was a mass the size of a golf ball inside his abdomen. She advised I get blood tests and X-rays done today. They gave me a $987 estimate for the full workup and fees. When I explained that I wouldn’t be able to afford that kind of bill, she proceeded to tell me if I couldn’t pay for it then I should think about surrendering him or have him euthanized. Needless to say, I got a second opinion at a vet office that actually took a urine sample and diagnosed him with a UTI. I couldn’t believe what their vet just tried to put me through. This vet showed no compassion, gave minimal effort and lied straight to my face, all while trying to make me think she was going to save his life. Keep your sick pups away from this vet!!!

My husband and I have always trusted Vetco here in Lincoln with our cats health and wellbeing. They have always taken care of our boys like they were their own.
July 2nd of this year, we had to make one of the hardest decisions of our lives, and have our beloved Gomez put to sleep.
Dr. Peterson and the staff at Vetco were incredibly kind, they made sure we knew exactly what was going to happen, every step of the way, and provided the best support, care, and understanding along the way.
They made sure we were given as much time as we needed with our sweet boy, and that he was comfortable all the way til the end.
Today we got his ashes back, and yet again the whole clinic went above and beyond to make sure we were okay during this difficult time, and even took the time to check in and ask how our other cats were handling the loss.
This is just one example of the exemplary care we have experienced with the Vetco team, they've also handled check ups, vaccinations, and surgeries with the same wonderful, helpful bedside manner that every pet parent deserves and made sure our boys are taken care of, every time.

Today I was shamed by doctor Peterson for not putting my dog down because he has arthritis. What i experienced today was highly unprofessional. I will definitely be reaching out to someone but the next time you talk to someone about putting their pet down, show compassion atleast. Advocate for yourself. I get it, hes elderly. Thats my baby, he was a rescue dog. Betcha didnt know that so yes its hard for me to allow someone to euthanize him and show no compassion for him or the people that love him. Sitting in a room going off on me is unprofessional. I pray you never treat ANYONE like you did me today
