I was contacted the morning or the appointment by Jerica giving me a hard time about having a senior dog and that she needed to call the local vet to get a history of my pet. She found out, which I explained in the notes, that my senior dog sometimes needs to be muzzled when his paws are touched for grooming purposes. I explained other groomers who are patient with him usually don’t need to muzzle. I was ignored. Shortly after I dropped my pet off, I was contacted to pick him up. I was running errands, my dad picked my pet up for me. He was told not to bring my pet back, that he’s fat and kept sitting down on them during the service. My pet had not been bathed, or an attempt to groom him at all was made. I was still charged full price for the visit. I then made an appointment with Petsmart. They were able to complete a groom with no issues. I even explained the situation with Petco and the experience, they assured me they would take care of my pet. When I picked my pet up from Petsmart they said he was a good boy and that my pet gave them a warning when a part of the service was uncomfortable and they would re-situate my pet and he would let him continue the service with no issues. Petsmart understood I have a senior dog with week knees. I will no longer be doing business with Petco.
