  While not as big as PetSmart and with a smaller selection, the available selection is thoughtful and always well stocked. Even with the smaller selection variety, I can always find what I need, and sometimes they have products other retailers do not. The staff is always top notch.

  Working through Petco’s customer support is the most painful process I’ve experienced. I just found out that I’ve been secretly being charged for two pets that I don’t have anymore. A supervisor named “ash” informed me that because my verbiage said “can I remove two pets from my account “ that they continued to charge me $40 a month because I hadn’t said “I need to cancel two subscriptions” because those are two different options in their system. Ash told me that after I requested to remove my pets, I needed to then ask to cancel my subscription. If this isn’t the most scammy, scummy system, I don’t know what is. I’m beyond disappointed. The store and employees themselves are great. However how corporate treated me, the lack of transparency, I can’t even remove my own pet from the app without needing to call customer support. The store employees can’t even do it locally. This is a broken system that has scammed me out of a bunch of money. Do better Petco.

  Went in 20 min before closing due to me having to go to an ER visit all day with my 3lb, 12 week old puppy. Went in quickly to buy special food given what’s going on with her. The older lady that was working on June 24th, 2026 at closing was EXTREMELY rude and inconsiderate. She chased me around the store borderline yelling at me saying we are closing in 15 min.. I needed ONE more item in the exact isle she chased me in and said “Ma’am we are closed you need to leave” and I said I’m just grabbing one more can of food for my SICK puppy and her response was “well we’re closed.” I then said back to her, I guess I’ll have to come back tomorrow at the same time AS I WORK and hopefully this doesn’t cause her another ER trip. That was the most AWFUL experience I’ve ever had at this Petco. Normally they are very very knowledgeable and beyond friendly. This lady however, not only made me instantly mad given I said I had a sick puppy at home and she did not care at all…. In fact SHE left the store before I could even drive out of the parking lot. If you’re not willing to do you job, find another one. Don’t be extremely disrespectful, condescending, and out right rude to a customer just trying to help her 14 week old puppy. Petco is normally my go to and I won’t be back unless this is resolved with a formal apology. I can’t believe this happened.

  Normally not my go-to pet stop because they don't carry everything I need for my fur baby on a regular basis. However, this time my regular store failed me on availability & value. Petco had exactly what I needed last minute at a great value as well! Thanks Petco!
