Could not have been more disappointing, unprofessional, and disorganized From the first visit the staff didn’t listen, didn’t act truly proactively, or fully complete the circle of communication. Upon follow up visits information was relayed that was incorrect, incomplete, and somewhat dismissive Records online were not kept, tests not updated, labs not posted. Missing notes is a common theme. The practice Manager Evelyn McDowell was possibly the rudest person I interacted with at the business. Extreme lack of customer service, customer care, and ability to want to solve issues. The bright spot was the amazingly nice woman at the desk. Katelyn. She is the best part of the entire experience and is a bright spot in an otherwise sad situation. Find another place to go.

Best pet care ever! You know the service is great when the pets, 4 dogs, get excited when they have to go. The staff is friendly and caring.

We’ve been going to Banfield for years. Our pup, Miah, is now 9, and after yesterday, we won’t be returning. A couple weeks ago, we brought her in for a blood-filled cyst on her tail. We were told to use a cream and come back if it popped. Well, the other night when I got home from work, it burst. We stayed up all night making sure she didn’t lick it because we were terrified of infection and could tell she was in pain. We brought her in at 9:15 AM as a drop-off because there were no in-room appointments available. I felt a sense of urgency and trusted that she’d be cared for quickly. Instead, our dog sat there for over 6 hours. I called around noon for an update and was told the vet was in surgery and Miah would be seen afterward. When they finally brought her out to us around 4, she was actively bleeding all over herself, all over me, and all over the Petsmart floor. I immediately walked back to the desk and explained that she was bleeding badly. Without even looking at her tail, the tech simply said, “It’s going to bleed. You have to let it.” I understand they couldn’t wrap it due to infection risk, but after 6 hours, nobody could at least clean the blood off my dog? Or take 5 seconds to actually look at the wound when I said it seemed worse? I was standing there crying while realizing nobody had even explained what they actually did for my dog all day. Apparently, they “looked at it and cleaned it.” That’s it. She was sent home with pain medication, antibiotics, and a bleeding tail. If I had known my dog was going to sit in a crate all day without treatment or pain relief, I would’ve brought her later or taken her somewhere else entirely. When we got home, she drank water like I’ve never seen before. What upset me most was the lack of compassion and communication. I felt like squeezing in as many appointments as possible mattered more than the comfort and care of the animals. We were told she needs surgery, so we scheduled it for June 1st. Then an hour later, they called my husband and suddenly said they could do surgery the very next day. So is this urgent or not? We still have so many unanswered questions, and we’re getting a second opinion today. If you care about your pet, I would strongly reconsider bringing them here. I also want to add that the vet has always been a nice and knowledgeable lady, however, I think because she’s having to take care of 20+ animals a day, my dog was put on the back burner this day. When it comes to my dog’s health, that’s not ok.

We have been going to this Banfield since early 2023. We loved the front office staff, the techs and Dr Hertel so much we would go out of our way to only use them. Unfortunately, in late summer 2025 we started noticing a big change of staff at the office. It has been horrendous. I definitely won't be taking my animals back here in anyway. They have become so focused on $$, incredibly rude, negligent, and have zero accountability.
