- JMJamie MadoreJun 14, 20265.0Stopped into Petco in Wake Forest on Capital Blvd early Sunday afternoon to pick up some dog food and had a really good experience. The store wasn’t too busy, which made for a quick and easy trip. Everything was clean, organized, and well stocked, making it easy to find what I needed. I was only in the store for about 5 minutes, doing a little browsing before grabbing my dog food, and when I got to the front I was immediately greeted by the cashier and asked if I was ready to check out. She was friendly, made some small talk during checkout, and thanked me at the end of the transaction. As someone who shops at a lot of stores, I always appreciate the simple things like being greeted when you walk up and thanked when you leave. Those little details go a long way, especially since the cashier is often the only employee you interact with. The extra bit of conversation made the experience even better. Thanks to Petco Wake Forest for making me feel welcome and appreciated as a customer.

The person on the phone assured me I did not need an appointment and could absolutely be seen as long as I came between 8 AM- 4PM. I got there right at 3PM. I drove over 30 minutes to get here, only to find out the groomer had left for the day. This place is a waste of time and horrible customer service. Do not recommend.
